#14 Pick: J.Jenkins, Cb

I think the guy is a freakish corner, and many reports i've read said, if it wasn't for his character he would be the first corner taken. I think Jerry and co. have a good program for troubled players.

* Trade back into the first round and draft Melvin Ingram out of South Carolina.

He's, I think, A bit more explosive the Courtney Upshaw. I strongly believe if he was on a alabama or lsu def. he would be a top 10 pick. Right now he's projected in the low to mide 20's pick, if slips we need to bag him.

I think Dallas will stick to their draft board and pick the best player available. We did this last year and had a fantastic result. Dallas had Patrick Peterson, Aldon Smith and Tyron Smith as our top three players on our draft board. I believe we will follow the same format (value over need) and pick who ever is left at the top of our board. When we selected Bruce Carter and DeMarco Murray last year, a lot of people were upset; but these players were at the top of our draft board. If Carter fully recovers from his knee injury; we may have drafted three gems. Not too often you can say that about Jerry's selections. If you had a chance to listen to Jerry at the Senior bowl, with Mayock and company; he talked about draft grades, our draft board value and production. I guess the big question is: where does Janoris Jenkins fit on our draft board if we are selecting the BPA?

anyone that thinks Jerruh will go anywhere near someone with a recent drug problem after the mess with Hurd just a year ago is absolutely dreaming or on something.

I don't think Jerry will even have Jenkins on our draft board. I wanted to be nice. It was reported that the Cowboys met with Jenkins; however, Micky shot that down on the radio. It did not happen. Garrett is looking for certain types of players, as he should. Garrett seems to have a direction for this team.

No packaging picks for anyone. We've got too many issues on the roster to go with a short draft class.

Do you mean trading down? I would consider it but I don't trust Jerry. If he learned anything it's to stay put and draft your board.

I would trade down, though. :p:

Ingram is all but a lock to go in front of Jenkins....by a good margin. There's a decent chance we would have to trade up just to get Ingram. Second, its just too expensive to move back into the 1st. Especially back into the top 25 where it looks like Jenkins will go. We just have too many holes to basically only draft 2 players.

it would be pretty crazy to take jenkins if decastro and ingram are there
