June of 2007, I was 15 when I joined, but turned 16 later on that year. I had just finished my freshman year in high school.

Crazy how fast it went, so many things have changed, and so many people have come and gone. My life hasnt turned out the way I thought it would, thought Id have a family by now, guess it's not in the cards. Just crazy how fast time flies. Definitely thought Id see more success from the Cowboys in that time lol

Well man, I thought I'd be a single millionaire dating the top models on my yacht. Now I have a family and haven't slept for more than 4 hours straight in ages.

The grass is always greener on the other side bro! Enjoy life as much as you can. :)

Don't say it's not in the cards if that's what you want. You're plenty young enough to still do that (and you should, with the right person of course). In fact, you're at a great age for it.

One of my favorite lyrics is from Concrete Blonde:

In the morning, when the light
Comes creeping in around my eyes
Another future falls behind
The one I had in mind

It's very relatable to pretty much everyone, I'd guess.

I met my future wife at the same age you are now. Wasn't looking, just happened. Looking back, had I gotten married earlier I'd probably have an ex-wife.

I was 16 my senior year in HS...I joined about 33 years later....right before I retired when I turned 50...I only have one kid, but she and my wife changed and saved my life. My little girl beat me by one year and graduated college at 20, she just got her masters a few days ago. Gets married in 4 weeks and moves to Arkansas....my future son in law is in the Air Force...I'm crying like a baby as I type this....I'm gonna miss her....but I am very proud and happy. Salud...

I promised a class of junior high schools kids i'd pay for their college education if they all graduated on time, sadly i couldn't do it, told them last year (they were upset).

I work at a company selling paper.

Upset or not, they'll thank for providing a spark and incentive.

I remember joining this site right after a former Cowboys forum I was a member of got hacked after a New Orleans Saints win. The hackers were probably Saints fans . The Cowboys ended their undefeated season. My first post here was about Roger Staubach.

I haven’t been around as long as some of you (joined in 2016), but it’s crazy how time flies.

I’m just glad this place is still alive and active. Over the years, I’ve seen several great forum boards either close up shop completely or turn into ghost towns thanks to social media (Facebook groups, mainly). Call me old-fashioned, but I’ll always prefer a good old-fashioned forum board.

At your age, I was in a bad marriage, extremely obese, and in a very menial job.
Then I lost 170 lbs, got a divorce, remarried, had awesome kid, switched jobs, got a degree, got another divorce, got a new career, and got married again.
Now, I have a good wife, a great kid, excellent income, a nice home with a frikkin movie theater in the basement, and a growing retirement portfolio.

Life can change in a hurry. But, it usually requires you to change something first.

Im gonna move in with @Ranching . Ya heard me playboi!!!

You’re only 32 man.

Like Kevin said earlier. Still a lot can change.

I had my first kid at 30. Only 2 years younger than you.

I also went to grad school in my late 30’s, nearly doubled my income and was able to buy a larger house.

My wife is 35 now and she just graduated with her bachelors degree in teaching, as being an elementary school teacher has been her dream since she was a teenager. Some roadblocks prevented her from getting there sooner. But the key is to not give up and keep at it.

The point is. You’re still plenty young enough to go out and make your life into what you want it to be playboiiiii. You got this.

I was in Chicago brawling with a fraternity house of drunk Bears fans in 2007 when Terrell Owens and Romo kicked their butts on Sunday Night football. Worst fans I've ever seen anywhere.

I hear you Ranching. Kids grow up way too fast. I have twin daughters and one of them got married last June to a great guy. He is an officer in the Army and stationed in Kansas. Both my daughters graduated with bachelors in 3 1/2 years and are going on to get their masters. Both are here for the holidays but you know that it won’t be to long before they have to go back to their own lives.
