I had 2 sets of mavs/heat finals tickets in the lower bowl a few years ago and sold one pair for 3900. I hope that doesn't make me a bad guy too.
I know your just looking for an argument, and I really dont have the time for it.
it is just my belief that if you are a season ticket holder, then the game and the sport mean something to you, more than money. So with that understanding if there is a game you can not attend why not sell your tickets to someone else with the same love and passion of the team and sport for face value?
That is just it for me, I just dont like how fans rip off other fans simply because they have a ticket, it is just my belief that since you are adding nothing to the event and have nothing to do with it why should you then take advantage of someone who can only afford to go to a handful or maybe just one game.
I know the response, that this is america, free enterprise blah blah....so spare me.
I just believe that it is wrong to do that to fellow fans, and it really irritates me when a cowboys fan who is a season ticket holder sells his tickets just to make money, not because they cant go, but just to make money....throw in that more than half the time it is to out of town fans of the visiting team that makes it worse.
Another thing that bugs me about it is, The yankees and cowboys studied the data from stubhub and other brokers and found that they should charge more for tickets based on the secondary market. So in essence season ticket holders who scalp their tickets for profit increased the price of tickets on themselves and the rest of us season ticket holders.
I just hate everything about scalping, so sorry, doesnt make you a bad guy but I do think people are using bad judgement in doing this.
go ahead and give me the I am an american and free enterprise speech now.
