oh dear.

I would like to slap the person that owns those seats and sold them for that price.

Congrats on the tickets, but that price is just absurd. The scalping thing is bothering more now than ever.

Yes, I know I can do nothing about it and yes I know its america and free enterprise blah blah blah......but prices like that are really making me mad.

I had 2 sets of mavs/heat finals tickets in the lower bowl a few years ago and sold one pair for 3900. I hope that doesn't make me a bad guy too.

If they're not too expensive, I'll certainly look into getting any tix off your hands for face value for those games you can't make. :)

I've already got one ticket off theebs, so yeah I'm hitting you up, too.

Just PM me if it's ever an issue. hint, hint.
PMing now.

I know your just looking for an argument, and I really dont have the time for it.

it is just my belief that if you are a season ticket holder, then the game and the sport mean something to you, more than money. So with that understanding if there is a game you can not attend why not sell your tickets to someone else with the same love and passion of the team and sport for face value?

That is just it for me, I just dont like how fans rip off other fans simply because they have a ticket, it is just my belief that since you are adding nothing to the event and have nothing to do with it why should you then take advantage of someone who can only afford to go to a handful or maybe just one game.

I know the response, that this is america, free enterprise blah blah....so spare me.

I just believe that it is wrong to do that to fellow fans, and it really irritates me when a cowboys fan who is a season ticket holder sells his tickets just to make money, not because they cant go, but just to make money....throw in that more than half the time it is to out of town fans of the visiting team that makes it worse.

Another thing that bugs me about it is, The yankees and cowboys studied the data from stubhub and other brokers and found that they should charge more for tickets based on the secondary market. So in essence season ticket holders who scalp their tickets for profit increased the price of tickets on themselves and the rest of us season ticket holders.

I just hate everything about scalping, so sorry, doesnt make you a bad guy but I do think people are using bad judgement in doing this.

go ahead and give me the I am an american and free enterprise speech now.

I'm sure your post is quite sincere, and that you sincerely believe what you are saying. Why should they sell the tickets for less than what they are worth? Some years the tickets to some games arent worth face value. Also, what makes you think the guy who paid over face value is going to root any less for the team than a guy who you gave the tickets to, or paid face for them?

I know, its a ridiculous thing that I cant get over, I dont blame the people that buy them. I paid over 200 bucks a couple of times to go to the vet......

I just hate that so many season ticket holders are doing this.

Like I said, I know it is pointless for me to even say anything, It just bugs me.....

Anyway, the game is going to be awesome, I was just at the ballpark yesterday buying tickets and showing my dad the new stadium....That first night is going to be so loud and exciting, glad you could be a part of it dude.
I hope we win, or what a waste.

One thing to consider with the new stadium is that season ticket holders have a seat license that they're paying for, so that definitely marks up the price of a ticket over "face value."

I'm going to be using most of my tickets myself. For most of the games I can't go to, I'm offering them to friends who are also fans for face value.

But for the season opener, I'm only using two of my four tickets, and I'm definitely going to try to make some money off of the extra two to help offset the cost of my seat licenses and the cost of getting to the games.

I definitely won't sell them to Giants fans, though.

It doesnt mean the guy who paid more or less will cheer differently, just that why do they have to pay more? Why not just sell the tickets to someone who will use them for the same as you paid? that is all i am saying.

Money makes the world go round. honestly I don't care as long as they don't sell them to opposing fans.

Congrats.... Maybe I'll see you there.

I also bought tickets through stubhub. The price of tickets equivalent to mine have already gone up $89/seat from what I paid.

All I can say is don't wait much longer cause I can see them going up even more.

Amen. It's tough and if can sell some of my tickets to help offset the cost of my seat licenses and the cost of getting to the games I will.

Speaking of available tickets. I have 4 tickets in section 219, row 8 for the First Monday Night game ever at Cowboys Stadium against the Carolina Panthers. Most ticket agencies are selling the tickets for $341 apiece. I'm willing to take a little less for each ticket.

It is a lot but it is entertainment and it's our Cowboys. I have 4 for the philthy game too.
