IT is scheduled to open for the 2009 season. THat would be our 50th aniversary team.

You know Jerry is planning something big but I didn't realize that it would be millions of dollars big!

Gotta love Jerry. He is one smart business man.

The only reason the stadium is opening in our 50th year is because they can't build it any faster than that.

That is very interesting. Most people do not see that- thinking that since the first season was in 1960 the 50th would be 2010.

Honestly, that was my thoughts but I was looking through some of my memorabilia last night and started doing the math. (I had my socks off to help with the adding part. :D ) and realized that it would be 2009. I think it's going to be pretty cool with all that will be going on that year.

The new stadium, Jerry land, the Super Bowl championship. All that! :starspin

The 50th Anniversary and a NFL Championship just seem to go together.

Of course going for a third straight would be even better. :)

What year did we win our first Super Bowl?

The first year we played in Texas Stadium.

That would be sweet to kickoff the new Arlington stadium's first year with a SB win...

It would be better to kick off that stadium coming off back-to-back super bowl wins.

I think it just so happens to work out that way. The Stadium lease was up after the 2008 season. And this needed to be started when it was to be finished for the 2009 season. It was not a planned isea by JJ.
But none the less, a very good observation. Yuo need to e-mail them and remind them, not that someone already knows it.

It's not that far fetched to think that is possible.

I just hope Jerry doesnt change our uniforms in any way shape, form or fashion, especially the traditional whites they have to remain the same forever. IMHO.
