No. Troy was a three-time champ with more credibility and the ability to command more respect than most of his coaches at the time. His outbursts on the sidelines gave voice to the frustration that anyone who had seen the great years was feeling as things unraveled. Nobody would have viewed him in the same light as a malcontent like TO that wasn't a leader, never won a thing and created turmoil on every team for which he played.

The two coordinators kept the team together, and if Jerry wouldn't have brought in Norv Turner, Troy might not have even materialized for the Dallas Cowboys.

The Hail Mary game against the Vikings, is the first game I can remember watching. I was 9 years old. 1975 was also the first year I played football. Lotta years.

First game I remember watching was against the Saints. I was probably 5 or 6 years old. I'm sure I had watched other games before that one because I cried after the loss. Long long ago. Luckily I was able to see Staubach win a SB. Those were the days right there.....

I have said a few times in CZ that he is the reason I am a Cowboy fan...I liked in upstate NY (I hate that word, btw); was a bills fan until I saw him play on TV...game over man, game OVER
