Two E's after the L? So, you root for the Steel Ears?

Morons will spend money for that every time they renew their registration too.

Uhhhh, hos, he may not be quite the moron you're assuming... it might be that the lad is from the Wheeling area of West Virginia, or the Morgantown area... folks in that area tend to be hard-core Steelers fans, and they also tend to hard-core West Virginia Mountaineers fans (sometimes lovingly referred to in those parts as the "Eers")...

So the owner of that plate may be proclaiming that he loves his Steelers AND he loves his 'Eers...

Then again, you can find a rather high percentage of morons in the Steelers fan demongraphic, so your original theory may have some validity... :D

Edit-- "demongraphic" was a typo, but it cracked me up, so I ain't changin' it....

Doubt it. Arizona plate with a Steelers frame as 6 time champions. Nothing WV that I could see.

What I'm suggesting is the guy is originally from the region of West By Gawd that spawns both Steelers and Mountaineers fans... but like I said, I could be wrong...

Mountaineer fans and Steeler fans irk me. There are many in this area. The thing that irks me, and I let it be known to these people, is that WVU is huge rivals with the pitts panthers. So why hate one team from a town yet follow another team from the same town.

Of course there are three NFL teams about the same distance from our area, Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Cincy so I guess they are the only viable NFL team to follow but still I hate the idea of WVU fans cheering for Pittsburgh in any form.:D

I know that does not mean that the plate Hos seen means they are WVU fans but just following up on what Silver was saying.

It doesn't matter. No one here would get that it was combined. All they are going to see is the badly misspelled Steelers as Stleers.

Yeah the other day I saw an Iowa Hawkeyes black and gold license plate with "ISUFAN" engraved. The two teams are arch rivals... pretty lame.
