The comment DCFANATIC made after we lossed to Minnesota.. Our coaching staff gives us no advantages. I never really thought about it until this year. Shame on me. Every team we've lossed to thusfar has had the coaching edge. Shanahan and his staff is clearly better than ours. Lovie Smith has 3 ex head coaches on his staff, and Jeff Fisher needs no introduction. All these coaches have reached the super bowl at some point in their careers. My biggest fear going into that game yesterday was the coaching macthup. M

Fisher completely outcoached us yesterday. He knew coming into Dallas he couldn't play conservative and win. He was in attack mode from the kickoff and throughout. I look at how they were finding creative way to blitz and get to Romo, meanwhile were still running the same brooking blitz up the middle.

The last 2 plays of the game we run the same play, but when players like Ray Lewis say were predictable all I hear is he has an ax to grind because Garrett didn't want to coach them. Why is David Buehler still the kicker here. The saints 3 weeks into their season decided enough was enough from their kicker who made some crucial kicks last postseason. It's the philosophy and no accountabilty.

I feel alot like Blue Star... Indifferent and Numb. The same things continue to occur without change. Were one more loss next Sunday from becoming irrelevant by week 7. Unreal.

Truth Dude. :star:

with the notion that we've been " outcoached ". That has been the theme going on around Valley Ranch for way too long now and it only serves as an excuse for the players that need to be called out. Being " outcoached " implies a lack of prepartion in strategy, which is the coache's main job, and I haven't seen that happen in any of the losses.

I don't have a problem with calling the coaching staff out, more Phillips than any other coach, for the discipline issues that this team has, but it goes both ways. These are fully grown men making millions of dollars ( in alot of cases ) with PLENTY of experience to know better. Dez Bryant wasn't the one acting like a fool yesterday, the way Jason Witten and Marc Columbo were. Robert Brewster wasn't getting beat like red headed step child the way Leonard Davis was. It wasn't OAO getting flagged for pass interferences, or Danny McCray looking completely lost, for using poor technique the way Jenkins and Scandrick were. It was not Sean Lissemore getting called for a stupid, stupid STUPID hands to the face that extended yet another scoring drive for the Titans, like Stephen Bowen did. It wasn't Sam Young not only getting beat by a 7 year journeyman named Jason Babin ( TWICE ) for sacks, but get called for unsportsman like conduct TWICE, the way Marc Columbo did.

Yes, Phillips needs to be blamed to the extent where he facilitates the lack of discipline and accountability this team has to a certain point. However, these are supposed to be experienced, PROfessional men who are near the top of their PROfession, and if they need to have another grown man forcing them to do what they are supposed to be doing anyways, then perhaps they've been overestimated to begin with.
