Or a vet brought in to tempa. Outside. Really would like to see Juhyne win the slot, but that's a hopeful wish.Bland is receiving a majority of the snaps in the slot.
He will play this year there
Week 1 likely is Elam, Carson and Bland
By the end of year it’ll be Diggs, Bland and Revel
Bland, Carson and Elam are the top 3 corners. Anyone denying that is poorly informed.Where is Bland. In every post about our CBs his name is left off. Has he gone fishing? Talking about starting Andrew Bishop. Are we that desperate? Has Bland left the building?
There is 0% chance Andrew Bishop is starting against the Eagles.Talking about starting Andrew Bishop.

That's the kid to keep an eye on.Revel should be ready for week 1.
Not according to the Jones’. They’ve speculated he will start the season on PUP. Hopefully by midseason, Diggs and Revel will be fully available but expecting more than that will likely disappoint you.Revel should be ready for week 1.
Bland’s value is dictated by the market as he gets resigned or becomes a free agent. He played the slot well. He set an NFL record on the outside. Now he may play inside again unless someone steps up. That versatility is not going to cost him money. If he plays well, that makes him a great value to any team. If anything hurts his value it will be that he is not a press man cover guy. Like Diggs, he plays best as an off ball cover guy. The teams that emphasize press coverage won’t value either of our big name CBs.I don't know. I want the best player for the best position and Bland should be on the outside over all the other healthy CBs.
I also agree on a previous poster's suggestion that Bland's change to slot in a contract year is kinda unfair to him because outside corners make a whole lot more than slot corners.

It will be interesting to see how the defense shapes up. I like Eberflus a lot but he will be our 4th DC in 6 seasons - Mike Nolan (2020), Dan Quinn (2021-23), Mike Zimmer (2024) and Matt Eberflus to start 2025.Baptism by fire for the db room this year I think. For a couple dudes. Our passing d might be a problem. I feel we will be ok stopping the run.
It's not as if they are having him practice in OTAs in slot to steal money from him. It's out of necessity. We have no one else who has played significant amount of time in slot.I don't know. I want the best player for the best position and Bland should be on the outside over all the other healthy CBs.

Yip, correct . I feel the same. Anything we achieve this year playoff wise is all gravy. We underwent alot of change this off-season. On many fronts. My expectations are low.It will be interesting to see how the defense shapes up. It’s possible our defense struggles at first then learns E’s system better and gets better playing together. Some of these Cowboys defenders who have been with the team 5 or more years have to have their head on a swivel.
My hope is the offense can carry the defense early which is a tall order with a whole new backfield and a rookie G and two other second year OL. And a rookie HC. Not to mention our starting QB coming off a major injury.
This year will challenge this team. We may be a year away from being a playoff team.
Andrew Booth. I thought the same thingThere is 0% chance Andrew Bishop is starting against the Eagles.
BTW, WHO???
Yeah, he was really bad. I'm surprised he's even still here. I'd rather see Izzy than Booth.Andrew Bishop?
Do you mean Andrew Booth?
He was horrible, but maybe he can be better. I do not have him making the 53 though.
