When they were breaking down film and play was sloppy and Garrett said, "Last year we made excuses for failure...well F that, that isn't happening any more."

Hopefully now that he has control there will be accountability.

Yep, I was thinking about that too.

then we had a bottom third rushing attack and missed the playoffs.

I wonder how many ignore lists you made today. :laugh2: No offense but its kinda comical what transpired today and your disdain for JG.

Wow, BZ, I completely misread the title as something else. However, it's not suitable to explain on the forum. Just know I was about to report you for an infraction...

I need a new glasses prescription. :laugh2:

Great clip.

Hopefully he's better at head coach than he is as OC

You've seen this line. The line play has deteriorated since 2007. I think that has a lot to do with our struggles in the red zone, and Wade didn't put an emphasis enough on offensive line.

Garrett will make changes. I think we'll see Mankins with a star on his helmet next preseason.

I saw that clip when it aired and became a fan of JG at that time. However, the results over two of the last three years changed my mind.

I don't know, maybe it's just these players.

You'll never see Wade in a clip like that. So glad he is gone.

I hope he says that line on Wed morning. You don't play with Swagger (confidence) there is the door!

Tell me what has to happen for the remainder of our season under Garrett to be considered a "success"

Seriously. I want to know.

That way if your expectations are reasonable, we can all come back and laugh in your face regarding your disdain for Garrett as head coach....which by the way, is NOT the same thing as head coach, despite what you may like to believe.

Does he have control though? I would bet the house he does not.

This is a really bad position for Garrett.

I still haven't seen it either. I haven't seen anyone really support him with any conviction. I have seen I love him, but I don't want to talk about why (just in case he flops).

And 3 years later that was some hot hair.....

.....do you feel that Mankins is worth a first rounder? (could be top 3 pick?) I dont' but we've drafted so brutally on the OLine that I actually have to pose the question...if not, how could we get him? We'll have to rebuild through Free Agency up front. We haven't been able to draft onlinemen in YEARS. Free is the only decent one I can think of recently.

Mankins signed his tender he will be an UFA.

Frankly I think Mankins needs to be our #1 priority in the offseason. I think we can get one more season out of Kosier; same with Gurode if his knee is not too bad. But Bigg and Colombo have to go. Costa might be the guy for center in a year or so; but nothing else we have looks good at guard. Young needs to be looked at real hard at RT. If by some stroke of luck he is ok there then we get Mankins we have something. We do need to use some high picks on O line this year though. If we could get a real good guard that would be great.
