...the play Romo made by avoiding the rush and hitting Witten on 3rd and 13. All he did was duck his shoulder and move 1 yard to the left fired a rocket to JW for a first down. DB would have been sacked for sure. I thought this was one of the most important plays of the game.

That was a bigtime play.

There was so many times last night I was saying before the play just dont turn the ball over and he would convert for a 1st down.

That play where Peppers was guarding Witten and he threw a strike to Witten.

Anyone remember that?

I also liked how he juked Peppers and threw him off balance.

Man im a Tony Romo fan.

Drew Henson......:laugh2:

I was thinking the same thing. I was hoping he would just protect the ball so we could get a field goal. I guess that is lowered expectations, huh?

I loved the 2 pt conversion fake.....awesome baby!

Yeah... its little stuff like that that makes a big difference... "he has an imagination" - Drew was an old black and white movie that the tape fell off the reel

Remember the time when Romo threw that pass to Witten........that was great *Chris Farley voice*

damn, beat me to it. yes, I thought that was the best play for some reason. Faked that linebacker out of his jockstrap

I think there was one play where Peppers actually had both hands on him and he spun back into the pocket and hit someone for a first down. He kept makings plays over and over again that had me saying this kid is legit.

Sure it was one game, but man he showed every tool required to be a great NFL QB. The most important one however was swagger, everyone seemed to feed off of this kid that hadn't played an NFL game before. I haven't seen Jason Witten that fired up before, hell even the defenses guys were coming over to show Tony some love. Its Tuesday morning and I'm still fired up about this kid.

Plays like that gave me butterflies. You could have picked a handful but that was probably the most impressive. How about the first down scrambles. He moved the chains. He effected our TOP, helped the D rest and impacted the field position war. I almost didn't understand what I was witnessing from the QB position. In certain situations you either have it or you don't. You either want to be the guy or you don't. Tony Romo had every excuse to come out of that game with a loss and say it was my first start but he played to WIN like he expected and should have been the starter all along. Call me crazy but Witten should have and could have extended for his potential second TD of the night trailing 10-14. The best part is Romo is still learning and improving.

He also threw a ball to Terry Glenn that Glenn went up for and caught landing on his back. That was also a third and 13. I say lets give props to Glenn for his effort even through he knows his plays are limited because of Romo. He knows that by spreading out the ball we are a better team. Good job Terry for being a better man for the team.
