I just have to say it. Two weeks into training camp and he is unsigned? That’s just crazy!

Ok, just leaving that here.

1. He turned down the Ravens deals early on
2. His tweets back then did him no favors
3. His recent tweets probably did him no favors
4. His recent production/tape did him no favors
5. Can be seen as a diva, approaching his 30's.

I thought lobbying to join the Giants purely for purposes of revenge was a great career move. Who needs the Ravens? :lmao:

You know what would be sadly funny is if a team signs him then he gets beat out and gets cut again.

The entire thing is sad. This is playing out across the country instead of just on Cowboys' game tape. I hope things turn around for him and he understands his NFL days are limited. He needs to make the most of them.

or he ends up on a roster and plays in a SB. Anyone can make those assumptions. Don't care where he goes. All I care about is these new WR's stepping up here. Dez is free . We aren't.

I heard one theory that maybe he wants to take a year off and has turned down multiple offers? Although I'm sure those would have leaked already from someone. I know getting released from Dallas took a toll on him mentally and he is still bitter about it. He made a tweet saying he is finally able to enjoy the life he never had growing up. So it could be he wants a mental refresh from everything.

But being as passionate he is about the game, I can't see him not wanting to play.

These front offices talk to each other.

My suspicion is that teams think he’s slipping in terms of physicality (he’s losing a step), and he doesn’t have the crafty/savy veteran skills to make up for it...AND he’s probably perceived as a headcase at this point.

I’m not saying those things are true or not....just that if those perceptions exist in the minds of HC’s and GM’s, it’s not helping his chances of getting signed.

And before anyone tries to mug me, I am not a Dez hater. In fact, quite the opposite (post history does not lie).

I actually predicted he’d be a Cowboy through the 2019 season.
