I know it is preseason, but damn the Giants and Dolphins looked like crap!!!

I really think Coughlin gets the boot this year, their defense was horrid against the Panthers. I really dont see this team winning more than 5-6 games. I cant wait for Tiki's "tell all" book, supposedly from what I have heard he really goes off on Coughlin.

The Dolphins looked like a freaking JV team. Ronnie Brown gets stuffed on almost every carry and that o-line is swiss cheese, I really dont see Trent Green making it to week 12. Seriously, 5 new starters on the online, that is just dumb.

And keep in mind the Dolphins were playing their starters for the entire first half and getting embarrssed.

Like I said, I know it is preseason and records dont matter (Colts 1-8), but you really dont want to see your starters getting totally dominated, was freaing sad watching the Fish.

We should go 2-0.

Thank you for validating what i saw last night. The dolphins looked like a junior college team.

I refuse to believe we will beat the Giants based on what they do in the preseason regardless of how bad it looks.

In all fairness to Miami-they are in a similar position New Orleans was at this time last year-1) New coach with Different Philosophies, 2) A RE-vamped O-Line, 3) A different QB(yeah, Green is no Brees, but he's still a decent one nonetheless)-and remember how HORRID Brees and N'Awlins looked in their preseason games. We ALL know how everything turned out when all was said and done...

With that being said, this IS preseason-I don't care how ANYONE looks-I refuse to believe that the Giants and @Miami will be a walk in the park on ANY day.

They don't play defense though..

Their new DC came from Philly-I expect them to be alot more aggressive and alot less conservative than Tim Lewis.

Thats very possible but they're only gonna be as aggressive as Coughlin allows them to be. You have to have the talent to be aggressive also. Do they have that talent?

Wrong....... The saints didn't have 5 new starters on the offensive line, and didn't have a 37 year old imobile QB. Also the dolphins don't have a gamebreaking threat on offense like a reggie bush. Jacksonville consistently got pressure with 4 guys last night, and didn't even blitz. I'm not buying the saints theory, the dolphins are terrible and won't win more than 6 games.

A bit early to write folks off........I suggest drawing NO conclusions concerning other teams. I do think the Cowboys gave us some reasons for optimism on Thursday but that's it for this week.

We'll get a good look at miami this thursday night against the chiefs, trent green's homecoming. I say the chiefs throw the kitchen sink at him. I expect KC to blitz early and often.

I feel the same way about the Foreskins this year. I really do think they're a BAD football team. Dline is terrible, best LB Washington is coming off hip surgery, their MLB is a 5'8in 35yr old midget, they're secondary is extremely suspect with Rogers and Smoot being toast last year and Springs is consistent but he's also consistently hurt too. Taylor misses tackles and blows coverages regularly and Landry is, well, a ROOKIE. Offensively, Samuels is out with knee problems, Thomas is coming off knee surgery, Dockery is gone, and Janson gets beat like a drum as he did the other nite against the Titans. JC looked terrible and is a HUGE question mark, Moss is good but as usual, nursing a hammy, Randle El is a circus act, and Lloyd is MIA. Portis doesn't practice and stays hurt but I will say that Betts is very good and runs hard. There's no discipline on this team and I truely believe the game has passed Gibbs by. I think his heart is really in NASCAR. I don't see them winning more then 5 or 6 games this year. Oh, did I mention they have ABSOLUTELY zero depth. None!!!

That would be great but I don't see that happening. Everybody knows his heart is in NASCAR.

And when was the last time Dallas won their first two games?

Try 1999.

Dallas should have went 2-0 in 2005, but had that late meltdown against the Commanders.

Going 2-0 would be nice again, but you have to win opening day first.
