this team was drinking its own koolaid, they thought they show up and play and in the 4th quarter, they will make magic happen. their heads got big. they didn't look prepared. they looked like they were sleep walking....I think this game was OK to lose...it woke them up. get them refocused. earlier this week I predicted this was a game we probably would lose and it wouldn't be a bad thing.

one, it takes the pressure off of win streak....
two, a young team sometimes need their arses handed to them to wake up... Indy played with a sense of urgency, they have to win to even have a chance. they came to play. we were sleep walking and didn't show the same urgeny
three it allows them to refocus and start a new streak and get ready for playoffs.

the offense needs to get off its schnide....we have scored 0 TDs in 6 of 9 quarters now....that's a really bad trend...we have 13, 29 (really 23 at the end of regulation) and 0 in the past three games.... that's pretty bad.... they have to figure out the redzone issues, specially once inside the 10. else going into playoffs, we will be one and done...

good game to loose if they can rebound and get the focus back. It would have been tough to win 11 in a row to get to the SB.

I think we needed to lose too because they were getting kinda cocky but by losing i meant 23-17

Now being flayed to the bone dipped in grease

They served us up like elote

..good post, dude. Observations are spot on. The winning streak put blinders on them. Time to refocus.

I like the enthusiasm.... yes, tough to win 11 in arrow in the NFL, specially 4 in the playoffs against the best teams in the league

I'm glad they did with two more games to play against teams they should beat.

This should demonstrate to the staff that they need play 100% as much as is reasonable in both games, even if they clinch before the Giants game. This isn't a team that can rest on its laurels and be ready to win.

did you post before the game you hope they lose?

just watched a play in the Steelers, Patriots game where not 1 but 2 guys tipped the ball to keep it out of the end zone. That's the effort I didn't see today by the Boys.

Been saying it all week but didn’t want them to look inept in the process. Two 5-game win streaks is fine by me, just don’t see it after today. Dallas is weak in too many areas to run the playoff gauntlet.

All things considered, I hate that we got blown out. At least it was to an AFC team.

This should be the punch in the mouth to wake the Cowboys up and get red hot into the post season. Hopefully.

There's a grand canyon size difference between a benofical loss and glad we loss.

And it's only a beneficial loss if the coaches and team do something about it.

I don't have a lot of faith in Garrett to do that.

We'll see.

I mean if this wakes them up to get past Seattle in the first round, then I would take this loss rather than beating the Colts today and getting beat by Seattle in the first round. This loss needs to make them hungry again
