I know Skins fans will want to crown Campbell, but he played poorly...

11/23 123 yards, 2 TD 1 INT

That's not impressive. Especially considering 66 of his yards and a TD came off of poor tackling by the Panthers.

yeah, and that wind up is terrible.

I didn't notice it until the broadcasters pointed it out. You can see a throw coming a mile away

He did what he had to. That 66 yarder was an impressive throw.

he's doing a little better than I thought he would be, esp without Porthole.
He may turn out to be okay, still don't think he'll ever be much better than Ramsey was.

Yeah I was talking to one of my Commanders' buddies today and he was going on about how well Cambell played. I told him to look up his stats and he stopped bothering me

To his credit he looks pretty good for a second year guy making his first couple starts. He has poise and a big arm but he's not really impressive though.

Pretty good assesment about him. He got half his yards and TD's on one play. The one play was a nice throw but no way it should have gone for 66 if somebody would have wrapped up. Looks like he'll be a solid QB for them, better then Ramsey at least.

Hey campbell has looked ok.

He isnt incredible yet but he could develop into a player.

He isnt putting the deadskins out of the game. you have to give him credit for keeping them competitive.

w/o that perfect throw, there is no run, and there are no broken tackles.

It was a 20 yard throw. What's the big deal? I personally think he is playing the same or worse than Brunell, but if they want to believe their savior is in, I'll try to hold my laughter while I nod my head in approval. :lmao2:

I think you all forget this was his second career start against a very good defense, and you're holding him to the impossibly high standard Romo sets. He made the plays he needed to on both TD throws, and led his team to a win without his starting tailback. What else do you want?

Campbell clearly has some talent. He has a huge arm and seems to have good poise.

I think his wind up is Leftwich like, and I think he locks on his wrs.

Those two things could be deal breakers. we will see. I think next year will tell more..

Hard to tell with only two starts.

He did nothing to impress me....or think that he was terrible.

His stats are underwhelming. I watched that whole, boring game. He was a good caretaker. He had one INT called back on a terrible roughing penalty, but did a great job in moving the Skins at the end of the game.

He was under 50% passing...which is terrible considering that most of his passes were the dink and dunk variety.

:hammer:

that is an assessment I can agree w/, nothing special, makes typical, youthful mistakes

still uncertain what to make out of him

I think he's played solid.

Now, any skins fan saying he's as good as Romo needs to be castrated, but he is looking ok.

He actually threw another pick...but the refs called a bogus roughing the passer

All I'm saying is that if this were how our replacement QB were playing, I'd be talking about who we were drafting next year or who is a FA next year. To me, he is in the same league as Frye, Gradkowski, and Walter. The next tier would be Young, Losman, and Grossman. I wouldn't take any of the above and be comfortable at the QB position.
