I hope he gets a decent chance to develop. He has big upside, but IMO, projects shouldn't be kept around for more than a couple of years.

i think size wise he's perfect as a 3-4 end. I am rooting for him for sure and i dont think he'll fail due to lack of character or effort.

I just asked this same question to the writers mailbag on dc.com. Maybe they will answer. I think the kid should get a shot, he's got the size lets see what he can do.

He's a tough kid, had a lot to deal with in life. He played HS ball about 20 miles from where I live. I've talked to people who know him, when my grandson ran track against Rome last year.

I cannot recall what happened with him in camp last year. Wasn't he injured a good bit and then just ended up on the practice squad?

yeah he was hurt in camp and only played i think in the last preseason game. but the coaches thought enough of him throughout the whole process that they put him on the practice squad, so i'm hoping that means he showed some flashes prior to injury.

i'm really rooting for this kid and hope he can squeeze onto the 53.
