Had Romo not had his head up his butt for 55 minutes last Monday i truly believe we would have won around 40-13. Now i know part of the reason he played so bad was because the Bills D forced him to, which i believe a little bit. He was hit hard, but some of those throws were really and i mean REALLY stupid.

I watched the game again and except for 10 seconds of kickoff coverage, and horrible decision making by our QB, we totally dominated the game. We moved the ball on them, we stopped them. etc....

I also believe had Romo "ONLY" thrown 3 picks we would have scored over 30 points on them.

Just a rant of mine.

There's no doubt about it. We blow them out if not for the poor day of one player. It just happens that the player is our QB. ;)

Here is another what if.

What if the Bills defense caught all of the passes that hit them. Romo potentially could have had 5-9 INTs.

He had a bad night, no sugar coating it. But at the end of the night he pulled it out.

That is water under the bridge now.

The team/game that they said they were not looking ahead to, even thought they played like they were vs the bills, is here now.

You missed the point i was trying to make.
Even with the horrible play by our QB we dominated them.

And you missed the point I made. We also got lucky that it was not worse and at the end of the day it really makes no difference about last week when we are getting ready to play such a big game THIS week.

This thread wont make the difference weather we win or lose, so i don't see why it matters that we are playing such a big game this week?

yeah we got lucky our Qb stunk it up or else like i said we would have won 40-13. Thats why i said in my title "what if".

To which I countered with another what if.

"If" you want to make a "what if" post don't be shocked "if" someone counters with another "what if" post.

"What if" the bills caught all of the balls that hit them and tony romo had a 5-9 int night and the bills went on to win.

During the game my wife said "It's a good thing the Bills are dropping some of the int's".

It could have been much worse.

guess it depends what your definition of dominate is...we couldnt run the ball worth a crap, even though their defense was decimated by injuries and light up front anyway...is that domination? our pass protection was shoddy and Romo took a bunch of big hits...defensively, they didnt do much to us but then again, but it was a rookie 3rd rd pick making just his 2nd start, so moving the ball on us wasnt to be expected anyway

they forced all the turnnovers they got..we only forced one...it wasnt like Romo was throwing balls that went off our guys, he threw them all right to the Bills defenders, and as someone else pointed out, he threw 3 or 4 other one's right to them that they dropped

like I said tuesday, I think Romo was hurt during the game and thats why I think he played so poorly, but we didnt "dominate" the game

Yes we did, did you even read my post?

I said had romo not had his head up his butt we would have won 40-13. Its pretty obvious.

The Bills couldnt move the ball. and even with your so called we can't run the ball, we still moved the ball on them pretty easily. If not for Romos turnovers we would have won EASILY.

musta missed that thread... What makes you think he was hurt? His first INT was on the 3rd play (and first pass) of the game. He was sailing the ball early, and never really found a rhythm until the last 5 minutes.

Has there been any report of an injury?

what if Romo was great but MB3 fumbled 4 times and Folk missed all his attempts and Demarcus Ware...I'm not even going to type it.

I agree, cowboys19. We did look like the much better team. We were much more physical and just seemed to do what we wanted with them on offense and defense. That is, other than Tony's horrible mistakes.

I disagree... his head was up his butt for 58 minutes :laugh2:

I disagree.... Buffalo's Defense didnt make him play bad.... he did it mostly by himself... he was hardly forced by the defense to make mistakes. He was ALL gunslinger until last few minutes

I'm just thankful Romo was able to get this kind of performance out of his system and oddly enough... with a win, and right before he needs to vastly improve his read to throw system in the passing game due to facing a truly superior performer coming to town in the NE Pats. Dallas wont win this Sunday with Romo performing like he did against Buffalo. It's going to be one hell of a game.

It makes no difference.

Why dwell on it? Unless you just want to diss Romo?

Boyz are 5-0 and the Pats are 5-0, I don't see where they are SUPERIOR this year. I sure hope our team isn't thinking that way, I'm sure they aren't... We'll find out who's SUPERIOR tomorrow...
