for Cooper, don't be surprised if we trade for a TE as well, of course I don't see any TEs out there that's better than the ones we have. Swaim is doing a very good job, Jarwin is ok, but I expect Schultz will supplant all of them that's in front of him next season.
Copper's production may have went down the past season some say 2 season's but his production is tied to Derek Carr's, his production has been down as well, it is a two sided story.
Jon Gruden is not a good coach, he is who he is, which is a coach that antagonizes his players and makes them not want to play for him, he did it before he got traded to Tampa and he did it in Tampa which got him fired, I do not believe he will make it more than 5yrs of his contract and maybe not that long, he already has players wanting to bail, and one player that did not even want to meet him.
Dak has to become an accurate QB, and he has to start seeing the whole field as well as reading defenses and learning how to manipulate defenses to exploit match ups, he needs to learn when he needs to use his legs and when he needs to hang in the pocket and hit the open guys, and stop being so clumsy when he needs to scramble out of the pocket to buy time, well he may know how to read the defensive coverage if that is true he needs to read faster.
The OL needs to get it together and play on the road like they do at home, the whole team does, the defense should have shut down AP. Zeke needs to stop trying to be Leveon Bell and hit the holes like he did his rookie season and last season, he is missing too many holes this season, hesistating too much ala Leveon Bell, he left some good yardage on the field these past 7 games.
Linehan needs to go, there is no way that Zeke should carrying the ball less than 25 times a game, that's the minimum, there is no use in trying to save him, he is there to run and catch the ball and pass block.
The seahawk, texans , panthers and Commanders game were 30 carry days for Zeke, if we had did that we would have won those games, we have the OL, make them impose there will, when you give up with Zeke carrying only 15 carries that is not going to do it, there will be those days when he will have a hard day, I do not care if he is starting off with a 1.6 yard average, there were many days that Emmitt started out like that but we kept at it until the DL broke then those runs got longer. The WRs need to catch the ball, Hurns, Thompson, Schultz, and they need to target Gallup more he will be a very good or great WR in this league, now that we have Cooper they should start Cooper , Beasley, Gallup and Dak needs to go to work, he does not need to throw for a lot of yardage every game I do not care if he throws for 140 as long as he does not turn the ball over we win, but when he needs to throw to help lossen the D, he needs to be accurate and not afraid to throw into tight coverage and he needs to learn how to throw a guy open at times. The WRs are getting open, people need to stop spewing that crap, but they need to catch the ball. I did see some improvement in Dak throwing the ball into tight coverage Sunday so that is progress, he missed guys though that were open, but he will get it. Our offense is run based , yes that is as simple as you can get, or high school so what that is what you get when you build to run the ball, we need to stay committed and the OL need to go to work, unless we our in a shootout there is no need to abandon the run in tight games, our Defense is good finally. we will put it together and go on a run putting wins together I know this for a fact we have too good of a team, but we do need a better OC.
People say that we do not make adjustments, well what do you call it when we have to move down the field in a hurry to score, yes you can say the tempo is sped up well you are making adjustments on the fly when you do that. I say all the time that when we have too many 3 and outs that they need to change the tempo so that the guys just carry out their assignments and not think. That's my spill on what I see is going on

For what we paid, the Jones boys should have ask for there starting TE also. The boys just got bamboozled without a gun.

Meanwhile, Gruden and the Raiders have 'bamboozled' teams into giving them 3 1st-round picks in the 2019 draft. Its a damn good thing the Raiders aren't in the NFC East.

Imagine if they tank like Jimmy's 1989 team and get the #1 overall followed by 2 more picks to start the draft.

Tell me about it. With 5 first rounders in the next 2 drafts. Wow!

The 2019 Draft Class is being touted as the deepest draft class in years for Pass Rushers. Outside of QB, that might be the hardest commodity to get in the NFL and they are stupid expensive. That #1 insures that the Cowboys will not have a crack at one of the top pass rush in the next draft and there is quality day one starting prospects all the way into the 20s in next years draft, according to scouts.

That could have really helped us next year.

We like our guys.

It's not like we are paying Antonio Brown money for him. What do you think a real 1WR should go for these days? I think it is an appropriate deal.

Yeah, it could have helped. But Jerry panicked and made a knee-jerk trade to protect his baby Garrett. If this (Cooper trade) fails he will say that Garrett is safe and blame the failures on Cooper just needing more time to learn the system.

Well he gets 14M next season and Brown is at 16M, so its not like he is not close. I was talking more of losing the pick. He will be making what Dez was making next year, so dont act like 2M is far away from what Brown makes.

There is little doubt that senile ******* will try to use Cooper’s lack of a full season in Dallas as an excuse for Garrett.

The same guy who doesn't bother with game plans or adjustments and simply tells them to go 'fight'?

He tells them to "Fight" unless it's 4th and 1, then you punt or if you get on the edge of FG range then you run out the clock and hope for a tie.

Well, if you say that the 2019 Draft Class will be one of the deepest classes in years for Pass Rushers doesn't this mean that you will find a very good amount of good Pass Rushers also in the second round?

It usually works the other way. If you need a Pass Rusher and the draft class is very top heavy at that position, that would be a situation you might want to think twice to give away your first round pick.
