got some extra picks and still got the consensus #1 WR at a great spot

Which can only mean one thing...Devin Thomas will be a complete bust.:laugh2:

If the best WR in the draft goes off the board at 34 what does that tell you?

Tells me this is a very weak WR class. VERY weak.

I would loved to have been able to get him, but not over either of the two players we got in the first round. He sure wasn't going to be there for our second round pick. Nice pickup.

He seems relatively talented, but that school has a bad recent history for WR's and his one year wonder stats would worry me.

I never thought he was first round material, so I think you guys got him right about where he should have gone.

I'm just glad y'all didn't get Merling, who will be a good one, IMO.

If he has like most WRs, won't know much about him for at least a couple of years.

I love great WRs, but I hate drafting them. You just never know.

Actually, they didn't get any extra picks. They gave up three picks and got three picks back. Moved from 21 to 34 and then upgraded their third rounder to a second and their fifth rounder to a fourth.

He could be great .. or he could be a bum. Just like any other player in this draft.

Hate to do it, but I have to give them credit. I thought that was a nice move too.
