Dak has been such a blessing to this franchise. It's a shame that we can't really enjoy what's been a great season to this point.

The incredible early success of the team has only fueled additional expectations as usual in the NFL. Now it's SB, or SB win or bust.

I some how doubt it. lol I think a big win would go a long way in silencing some of the noise but there are others I fully expect to continue with wanting Dak benched so that Romo can play.

People can't be selective on how we win and take what is going on for granted. Without Romo is 2015 we couldn't win and the fan base is upset, we're 11-2 without him and the minority of the fanbase is upset still.

Sure "we" can but coming off a loss, it can be a bummer. Not the end of the world. Still control our destiny.

Evidently some can. I have always supported Romo and should he be called into action I will continue to back Romo. As for Dak the plan was for him to come in and hold down the fort until Romo got healthy but as we know plans change and once the team announced that Dak was now the starting QB of the Cowboys I have no problem fully backing him. When people say he had a bad game I will agree but does not mean I dump on him and holler for him to be removed, having a bad game is just part of competing. Every QB to play the game has had bad games including Romo

No offence -- I'm on the Dak train too, but I don't think there is a single starting QB who has been under pressure who hasn't said similar things to the media, regardless of their ability.

Sanchez could have fed him those quotes from his time at the Jets.
:facepalm::facepalm:
Wrong. And I'm highly offended:D

This is why Dak blocks out the noise:

1. He wins 11 games in a row, and fans are ready to see his Hall Of Fame bust.

2. He has one bad game, and many of those same fans call him a bust and wonder where Tony Romo is.

Prescott just "gets it". I am thrilled he'll be leading this franchise for at least the next decade.

I dunno. The butt fumble would be really hard to sweep under the rug. ;)

I am routing for him and hope he can straightens the ship. I wouldn't hesitate putting Romo in if he can't. We can't let a season like this just go down the toilet.

You have to be like that if you're going to survive as a QB for the Dallas Cowboys. Even SB QB's eventually get boo'd.

In my most hated "Romo" time of my life, 2010, I still rooted for the guy during the season to win the Super Bowl. Every year, I bash Romo after the season. But as soon as the season starts, I'm a big supporter. You know why? Because this TEAM is bigger than my hatred for Romo. I disagree with putting him in, but if they did that and he won a Super Bowl, I would eat so much crow it's not funny. I would be his biggest supporter.

NOW

The Romo supporters are absolutely trying to ruin this season. They are so consumed with Romo, they can't even enjoy the season. The first sign of trouble, "Put Romo in". It's disgusting IMO. I love this board, it's like my home. I've been here since 2004, joined in 2005. But just seeing the way the Romo crowd is disrespecting a FREAKING ROOKIE! It's sad, it's disgusting, it's quite frankly nauseating. The guy is a rookie, and something we've prayed for, and now he's getting thrown out like trash. If they do put Romo in, he'd better win the Super Bowl or the failures of this season lies squarely on him and you guys.

He's a rookie. A rookie that's taken 11 wins and put us in position to do something special. Now the Romo crowd wants Romo to come in and take it from here. Take this season straight to the dumps like it's been in for 10 years. You can give him one of the greatest coaches (Parcells') one of the best receivers of all times (Terrell Owens) one of the best DE around (DeMarcus Ware) one of the best tight ends around ( Young Jason Witten) some of the top runners recently (Barber/Jones/Murray) different coordinators, different coaches, different defenses, different offenses, YET STILL, has not won anything important to football gold. Nothing. If the guy had gone to a Super Bowl, I'd be in his corner. If the guy had at least gone to an NFC championship game, I could see where that crowd is coming from, but this guy has done nothing, NOTHING, to make me smile at the end of the year. NOT ONE THING, and ya'll want him in.
