I love how all the media is writing us off! It kind of reminds me of 1992! :D

The way they're all talking, you would think we were the Ginats and they were the Cowboys. I mean, I'm hearing things like how well the Giants have played, ignoring that they are 1-4 against division winners this season, or that we have players like TO playing with injures, when they also have injuries, and the cornerstone of their offense - Shockey - out for the game. And the best is the talk about how Eli Manning has emerged, when really, all the Giants' coaches have done is put the straight jacket on his throwing arm.

I think it's an interesting spin. I see unexplicable double standards.

NY lost to NE but they looked good doing it. Dallas got smacked around by Washington in an ugly loss, nevermind that the game was meaningless and Dallas rested key players.

They say Dallas' warts have been exposed in December and there is nothing they can do about it. However, NE got exposed, according to Mark Shlereeeeeeth, by the Jets, Eagles, and Ravens but they have focused on correcting their mistakes during the bye week! What? Are the Cowboys incapable of doing the same?

After this post, I'm going into my bunker and I'm not coming out until 3:29pm CST Sunday.

The spin around Dallas' lost to Washington is particularly interesting. On Mike and Mike (ESPN Radio) this morning they were talking about that game and said it proved how bad Dallas was "in trouble" without T.O., as if Dallas was trying to win that game and T.O. was the only holdout, when really, over 5 Dallas starters were held out, Dallas never game planned to win, Dallas only ran their base offense and defense similar to a final preseason game, and in reality could afford to do so - and lose - because the game was MEANINGLESS.

Also, Mike and Mike talked about how Dallas would Lose but Green Bay would win, because Dallas played bad down the stretch while Green Bay was phenomenal. Rellay? I thought Dallas won its most meaningful game in December, against Carolina when it needed to win to maintain home field advantage, and when Green Bay needed to beat Chicago to have a chance at home field advantage, they got SMOKED in a MEANINGFUL game.

Aaaah, the MEDIOTS!

I loved how Greeny picked the NYFG to win only because he promised himself at the beginning of the week that he'd pick at least one underdog to win. Fantastic rationale there. Seattle seems like the most likely underdog, IMO, that could go in and upset a favorite.

I'll say it here. The Cowboys will win by 2 TDs and shut up all the nay-sayers. It's hilarious how people think the Cowboys aren't capable of turning it up a notch, with or without T.O. The Giants will get throttled and Eli sudden emergence will suddenly be forgotten.

I heard that on the way to work and screamed ***! GB got hammered in a game that they had to win to keep up with us, but they went into the playoffs "Hot."

I haven't watched ESPN in weeks, but I do listen to Mike and Mike and they are pretty rational for the most part. But that Schlereth -- who said that -- is an idiot.

I love the fact that the media is writing us off and the poll on ESPN has the Giants winning. That means we will have something to play for and will come in with something to prove.

I think a lot of the problem late in the season is because we had started to believe the hype and didn't have much to play for. Other than the Patriots, we beat everyone that we faced including the mighty Packers with Saint Brett.

We should come out fired up and with a chip on our shoulders this Sunday and throughout the rest of the playoffs.

Also, you had some teams playing hard at the end. Philly got it together and we played a bad offensive game. Carolina was playing to at least stay in it -- and we won. Same for the Lions game. The Washington game meant nothing.

I do love it how the majority is picking against us.

it does seem a little strange that we are treated like we are the underdogs this week.

That will make it all the better when we win.

:D I love it too, because nothing fires up a team more than when they are wrongfully disrespected all week long.

all the local media seems to have already decided that the 'Boys have lost, somehow. That's why all the discussion about should Wade be back, is Romo's head too big, TO is injured, yada yada.

Frankly I don't think many of the local media in Dallas likes the Cowboys. :laugh1: If we win they have nothing to talk about if we lose they get to create the stories to fill their tabloid.

You do know how the local media works. :D It's how Randy Galloway gets paid.

That is how all of them work. When the local team wins not much you can say but lose and all of a sudden these writers become experts in how to run and operate a team.

Why hasn't this guys account been suspended :D ?

Seriously, redskins1 reminds me of one of those fans that don't really know that much about their own team. Their best argument is usually, "But my team is better than yours".

The guy brings nothing to the table and his only agenda is to perturb and annoy.

Not always. Jimmy Johnson knew how to play the Media. He became drinking buddies with them. He could even tell them what size font to use for the headlines. :D

Hey if Dallas goes on to win the SB they will praise the team I'm just saying I think they like it more when we lose you just see it in their comments acting as if they are professional football people and could do the job
