I don't know if it was or wasnt...but it certainly helped otherwise the guard might not be there...i would have been happy with Dallas the TE also...

Notice who was drafting directly after you. We couldn't trade with you to move ahead of them, so this worked out. I think both players will turn out to be great, but we have 1 good TE on the roster so it's not like you pressured us into throwing away a pick.

Meh, the Eagles losing a 5th doesn't do anything for me. I'm actually thankful they traded up because even though I like the approach to this year's draft, I still don't fully trust management to not draft a TE in the 2nd round. I don't know if I ever will again.

I don't know about the Cowboys suckering philly but they got one of the very best TE in the draft and we got some guy from Stanford.
I absolutely love the Conner Williams pick but I'm not so delusional that I don't realize how great Goedert would have looked on this team.

It’s not just that they got Goedert and we got the “guy from Stanford”. Getting Williams is also part of the same equation.
