Fact of the matter is, even though I have been a detractor, I would never suggest he would purposely orchestrate this for the media and fans.

Do you really think he cares that much about the fans and media?

Based on your logic, Little Bill B. should have never been hired by the Patriots based on his track record. We should have never hired Jimmy Johnson because he was a college coach with no pro experience. The Saints shouldn't have hired Payton...we had an unimaginative offense when he was here and he was a washout in NYC. This can go on and on and on. The Colts should have never hired Dungy based on his failures in TB, etc., etc.

Alternatives are out there. You may not like them, but that doesn't mean much.
