Ive made acouple, mostly because im bored and really get into the draft. As always rip away.

1a)Leodis McKelvin
Cb is a huge issue on the team, reeves makes me sick, anthony henry cant stay on the field or tackle toomer...
1b)Chris Johnson
Its a reach but his speed, and overall strength is going to suprise many. Hes the perfect combo with Barber.
2)Marion Manningham
Another reach? maybe so but the comparisons of him to chad johnson shan't be ignored. (I no longer buy into the 6'4 wr)
3)Jonathan Goff
We need a solid Ilb, Goff is a solid tackler who is a step above akin
4)Dominique Rodgers Cromartie
I had him in a previous mock or two and he still intrigues me, maybe its the name or the intangibles, he maybe gone by now though.
5)Dre Moore
Physical athlete, large and strong, could be a project.

thats it now.

That'd be a great draft in my opinion though I can't see Cromartie or Manningham dropping down that far.

Johnson is going to see his stock skyrocket if he posts outlandish combine numbers like are being predicted. He could end up being the second back taken.

Cromartie is very thin, some may say frail, hes not an instant start either. Or that is the way i see it.

I had a tough time putting manningham there, and reaching for chris johnson. Its still early, i have to see how things play out.

They have Cromartie splitting time at FS at the Senior Bowl. This is a clear indication that some NFL scouts think that's where he'll play. You don't ask a kid to play a new position during the Senior Bowl, unless there's some serious concern that he won't be able to cut it at his current position in the NFL. I read, in a thread, that some scouts feel that he's locked in at the hips, which will inhibit his ability to be a NFL CB.

Ive heard he has terrific agility, and they may want him to split time at fs because hes 6'2, which is tall for a corner. not becuase he doesnt have fluid hips.

IMO, no one would ask a kid to switch positions just because he's tall for a CB. Switching from CB to FS costs the kid money. No way he agrees to do it unless someone told him that it's his best chance at making it in the NFL. You don't tell a kid, well, you have good CB skills, but, because you're tall, we want to switch you to FS where you'll be drafted a lot lower than lesser skilled CBs and be paid less. Doesn't make sense. He is being moved because he projects best at that position because of skill limitations not just because he's tall. Maybe his height will cause him some skill limitation in the NFL. JMO.

Or hes from a small school and is doing everything he can to be noticed. What coach wants a 180 pound free safety, plus he is only 6'1, hes not like pat watkins.

• I was covering the North practice yesterday but I heard all about how good Tennessee St. cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie looked and he certainly lived up to the hype today. A smooth athlete with quick feet and fluid hips, Rodgers-Cromartie saw action at both safety and corner and made an amazing interception, displaying excellent leaping ability, hands and ball skills. This guy is the real deal!
