I love the stealth aspect.

What I am soooo happy about this year and at this time is how The Boys are not really mentioned alot as a favorite to do much according to the mediots.

I hear how great NO , Indy, Minn, and how the Cardinals have a shot like last year.

I hear how GB is playing great and how Rogers is such a great QB .
How the Gints are making a run and how the iggles are the class of the NFC east.

As of now, not too many, if any, give the Boys a chance to do anything and there is not much talk about them

There is no B.S going on at camp and it seems that the boys after the N.O. win may be playing their best so far.
I know it was only one game ,but every journey starts with the first step, and that was a big one.

I like being under the radar ,it just may be what we need to sneak up on everyone and by the time they notice us we'll be there.

Agreed.

I prefer the team feeling "disrespected" rather than reading their press clippings talking about how the team is a lock to win the SB (circa 2007).

I disagree.

Usually around late December, most of the media has jumped off the Cowboys Bandwagon and this year isn't any different.

We are still 1-2 in December and just like last year, we are still in the Playoff Hunt and control our own destiny going into the last 2 games.

So "Stealth" hasn't really helped us in the past.

You can't tell me that The Cowboys were not under more scrutiny the past few years with all the T.O. BS and Romo's escapades (according to the mediots) /

No. this year has been very quite at Vally ranch and I for one like to see it.
We are not the main topic of conversation as we were in the past.

The lead story on SportsCenter last night was Brett Farve saga.

In the past it was Romo, TO, Jessica Simpson, ect.......

I love the fact that there is no controversey with the team now.:D

I was responding to the first sentence in your original post.

Usually around this time of the year, everyone has jumped off the Cowboys Bandwagon because of our past failures.

However, this is the Dallas Cowboys, all season we have had the "Wade Phillips Watch", The "Player's Revolt" and if we can get over the hump in December.

So yes, I do agree that the distractions in the locker room and in the front office are not as bad as previous years but the media, just like in year's past, will create distractions.

This is why certain moves were made during the off season. These guys go out and fight for each other and when they hit a bump in the road they stick by each other.
