I say this every year, but this is the best time of the football season. The anticipation of the regular season starting.

The sad part is once it start - Man, it seems too fly by.

It's the only part of the season for Commanders fans.

Yeah I gotta agree with yah, when training camps roll around and the preseason games loom just over the next hill - All those months of football ahead - It's great. Helps carry me through the year thats for sure.

As I was driving to work this morning a local sports show host that is a Skins fan said he's glad the Skins have a qb. I almost wrecked. :laugh2:

Some of my friends don't understand why a pre-season game trumps going out and hanging out. This might as well be a regular season game the way I'll be glued to the TV Sat.

I don't get too amped about pre-season. I enjoy watching the starters go for a short time -- see how they individuals play, not necessarily the overall results.

I also seeing the late-round guy or the UDFA of the year make a name for themselves.

Beyond that, I don't get overly excited. Not until week 1!

Dallas Week hasn't be mentioned much since the height of the rivalry in the early-80's. But that's cool...

I am actually getting excited about Zorn. There are a couple of things I've noticed so far that give me a good feeling:

- Practice Tempo -- and a lot of 2-a-days
- Campbell's accuracy so far this pre-season
- Calling out the rookies -- I LOVED that!

The Skins might have found something here. But then again, only time will tell.

In a just world, NFL would be year-round, with a two-week break each March for the draft, FA, scheduling making and the firing of weak coaches.
