Draft Cj Spiller from Clemson? You can never have enough toys to play with in the NFL and having both Jones and Spiller together would create many different mismatches. Plus, when you evaluate our team you can honestly say that all of the starters are here in place. That gives us the chance to draft a Spiller. I just love how the Vikings use Harvin. If we draft Spiller he would become our kick and punt returner and the jack of all traits on offense. The downside is I don't know if I can trust Garrett to use him effectively or if he even puts him on the field. You have to drag him by the arm to unseat a veteran. Speed wins, remember that was Jimmy Johnson motto when he first got here. What do you think.

Well I'm a HUGE Clemson and CJ Spiller fan, but he's so similar to Felix Jones that I would want a more diverse running game. I look at a guy like him as a potential Felix Jones upgrade. And what I mean by that, is that Felix is doing a hell of a job, but I think CJ Spiller might be able to do a little better if he lives up to his potential. The only way I'd want CJ is if we got rid of Felix. And Felix is too proven to just drop imo.

We have 3 rb's and we do not put the best 2 rb on the field as it is Spiller will be a primary back. How many times did we pull felix when he was destroying the Vikings to put in Barber

If CJ is what you say he is then whats wrong with spilting 15 carries to each player a game. Speed, speed, speed. Keep Barber for short yardage and I mean only short yardage. No more tosses etc he just not fast enough.

Too predictable. I think that became a problem with him this year a bit. It's 3rd & 1, Barber's in the game, we've got two tight ends out there, I wonder what we're going to do...

On the list of things the Cowboys need, CJ Spiller ranks right after changing the color of the uniforms to pink.

How did you even come to this conclusion when we have 3 RBs as it is? We already have a CJ Spiller and his name is Felix Jones. Drafting him as a kick return specialist to and go on the field for certain plays would be the ultimate waste.

I like the idea of getting another home run hitter, but he'll be long gone by the time we pick.

What I would give to see him in a Cowboys uni, but unfortunately it doesnt make sense drafting him, the only thing he would upgrade is the kickoff return unit. Everything else, Felix Jones can do. If for some crazy reason he is sitting there at 27, there is no way Jerry drafts him, he will trade down.

Spiller will be top ten pick after he tears this combine up

I think we have a better chance of drafting Jacoby Ford in the late second

Why draft Percy Harvin then when you have APete and Chester Taylor? Your thinking of having him as a rb but what I mean is moving him to every skill position on offense and speacil teams. Harvin meant alot to the Vikings this year.

And hopefully we do, he'd take care of returning kicks and punts. He wouldn't be a slot receiver though, more of a 4th receiver for us. Don't know if we really need that or not. :( And btw skoal, when will we get those pink uniforms we've all been waiting for?:

I think we have more important needs than to go after a Spiller. I think Dallas has some good weapons as is we need to do a better of of allowing them to use their skills by opening holes for them.

I'm thinking Dexter McCluster from ole miss would be pretty nice. He is in the same mold of Percy Harvin & a more polished reciever than Spiller. Just my 2 cents.

He would almost certainly be the BPA but I don't see him dropping all the way to 27. That's just not happening. Don't forget he played hurt all year with turf toe and still was number six in the Heisman. He could easily play the same role as Percy Harvin does for the Vikings. But it ain't going to happen. My guess is we go with a G/C at the bottom of the first.

IMO if you are drafting a midget WR you should be getting a outstanding returner as part of the deal.

I haven't seen that from McCluster.

he's probably the closest thing to a Percy Harvin in this draft

although he may not be as built

but he's plenty big enough
