I Love Tough Opponents!

The perception is that as the playoffs progress, the opponents get better but I think that doesn't take into consideration the type of team it is and what it had in the opening round.

The Niners think they are the toughest team in the playoffs and some sportswriters and McVay agree, as far as his team goes. They are a team that feels they can force their will to run on a team.

The Niners will run as long as they can and any team the Cowboys face after this opener will do the same except the Rams seem to like to abandon that but don't bet on that against the Cowboys. McVay would run blind women on walkers against the Cowboys. The Cowboys need to shut down the run to progress with RB's like Jones, Dillon, Fournette, Conner, Michel and the Eagles' "we never run out of backs" committee.

"That which does not kill you, makes you stronger".

the team that can play smash mouth with the run game and has a defensive 4 that can get at the qb without help should qualify as the “tough” team…..I have no problem with that moniker but we all know that alone doesn’t win games…..we’ve seen the Boys have all 3 phases of the game excelling at times, and that makes them a “tough” team to beat
