Got my S3 a week ago and I love it so far. It is a complete upgrade on all fronts compared to my HTC EVO.

The only complaint I have, and it's minor, is that when the text messaging box is full for a contact, the notification sound cuts off when I receive a text. It seems to be caused by the phone deleting the old text message as it receives a new one. It works if you delete all the text messages or turn off autodelete.

That's what I had before too. I agree with this statement. I love it. Verizon is also an upgrade to Sprint, so it's even better.

Received the battery and back cover today, and I'm loving this phone! The screen is so sharp and bright. Seems to run much smoother than my razar did. The camera is pretty darn good also.

I currently have a Samsung Galaxy S3 - greatest phone i've ever had.

My first smart phone was a Droid X, was great but hated the extra crap VZW throws on it. Next I had the X2, same thing great phone but hated the extra crap VZW throws on them. I will say Motorolla builds a heck of a phone hardware wise. I beat both of those things up and never had a hardware issue with them.

Next had a samsung galaxy S2, loved the screen but hated the samsung interface and performance, then I went to the HTC Vivid which was a phenominal(sp?) phone for me just bulky. Had to choose between the S3 and the Evo 4g LTE. I wanted the Evo because I'd fallen in love with HTC hardware and interface, but I couldn't pass up the deal on the S3...

All in all, Samsung galaxy S3 is the best phone I've ever had and in my opinion best one that is on the market. Gorgeous display, amazing performance, some questionable software that Samsung puts on there but not worth worrying about. If you're in a 4g LTE market too you'll have even better things to say about it than I do.

I have an S3.

All the Iphone4S people around me can't believe how much better my phone looks and functions then theirs.

As for Motorola, that whole company is going to get rebooted now as they have new management installed by Google and will be run as an independent subsidiary.

I think part of the problem is Google was tired of upgrading android software and all the manufacturers who use it not updating the skin they put on top of it which creates problems down the line.

For now though Galaxy S3 is the best phone out there and Iphone5 fell well short of where the S3 is right now.
