Nate newton was talking live from camp and his version of events was different than a lot of other places.

I don’t know exactly how much weight his opinion matters but his depiction was that the cowboys did ok, didn’t get totally pushed around but it wasn’t this one sided cowboys moment like some are making it to be.

He said the rams completed at one point 7 passes in a row ( I haven’t fact checked this) during first team scrimmage. He said it was a much better showing for us than in years past but we still had a lot of work ahead of us

But yeah! One scrimmage and it's back to the repeated EVERY SINGLE YEAR mantra of "this team is different".

Of course they're different. We added massive talent. How could they not be?

You keep saying this, but that doesn't make it true. We've added modest talent at best.
