If I want someone to run my business, I don't think you could pick anyone better than Jerry Jones but if you want someone to make personnel decisions with regards to football players, I'd probably hire a dead guy to make better decisions...but every player and every owner in this league owes a great deal of gratitude to Jerry for what his leadership, marketing and forward thinking has done to expand the brand and bring in boat loads of money for the owners and players..

I agree with this...but I don't think anyone other than players and coaches should be in the HOF. Wish there was another way to recognize the contributions of people who did not play or coach.

Jerry definitely deserves it on the NFL business side of things. He was a true visionary in that area.

Having said that, it would be like Jim Harbaugh getting in as a coach and then spending all of his time talking about his career as a player.

Jerry will spend all of his focus talking about being the GM that won 3 Super Bowls.

this is a favor from the nfl to jerry for all the money he has made them jimmy Johnson had total control of personal in his contract he built the team of the early 90's the record of team building after that time speaks for itself for a business man jerry is tops being a football gm is a whole different story but wish him all the best
