Ya know, a while back I realized that buying any current player's jersey is a big risk for two reasons. First, number changes happen often, and they really kill the mood when it comes to wearing your jersey on game day. Secondly, players switch teams so much more often than they used to, that your jersey purchase, (quite expensive) is pointless.

Now, with Micah Parsons, I'd say his jersey at #11 is going to be a keeper. I mean, fans of other teams wouldn't rule out wearing a Lawrence Taylor jersey, simply because of the greatness on the field. (I couldn't stand wearing anything but Dallas Cowboys gear, but some would do it) Back to the main point here, Micah Parsons has exhibited all-world talent in his season here, and will not be forgotten, even if things change down the line, his jersey will be timeless.

So, I will probably break my rule of only buying jerseys of retired Dallas Cowboys, and eventually get a Micah Parsons jersey.

Hey, how many of his college highlight plays have transferred identically to the NFL games... Smashing the check down throw, slicing through the line for a TFL... It's eerie how similar some of these plays are. Also, how are Parson's COLLEGE HIGHLIGHTS blocked by the NFL? Bizarre.

I actually haven't purchased a jersey in years, but I did just buy a #11. There's a game viewing party at a friend's for the Arizona game. I'm sporting that jersey for the win

What do you guys think will be his most valuable rookie card in 20-30 years? I know nothing about the card game.

I loved #11 because of Danny White. I'm also a grumpy old man over all the number changes by position.....

But something about the 11 on Parsons just feels perfect.

'Sticks' I believe is what they were calling him.

Oddly, it hasnt stuck.

@DakPresgoat knows what I mean.

I got an old Roy Williams navy jersey, so I guess I can just create a Parsons label and get that sewed on.

Bought 3 of them already......#11 is Heaven baby!!!

Haven't bought a jersey since Demarcus Ware....maybe soon I'll update.

My son bought a signed Amari jersey.

I may have Jinks LVE, but i think you’re safe with Parsons. My only concern is the next contract for Cowboys longivity.

I'm with you. I've never owned a current player's jersey. I have a Micah one on the way.
