I miss Michael Irvin. Watching him on the NFL network talking about the cowboys niners rivalry has me so amped up and ready to play. He said I'll die before I drop this ball.... Really got my blood pumping! We need a statement win today!

I think a players legend us built mainly after their playing days are over. Hopefully Dez is revered the same way Irvin is when he's gone.

I wasn't around for that but he sure was a great player.

That's a shame because Roger was my favorite all time Cowboy until Michael. It's hard for me to believe that a lot of you guys never saw great teams when I've been so fortunate to see different generations of them. You still have Dez and he's right there and might be the best before it's all said and done.

I seen 80s and 90s and know what you mean. Cowboy fans after 96 really haven't seen the greatness some of us was blessed with. We will be back one day

I loved it when he said that. What a player and what an era of Cowboy football.

I can't believe he picked against us at home and picked the Deadskins to win on the road. Michael, Michael, Michael.

He was much more that just a great player. He was the heart and soul of those Super Bowl teams.

He brought the fire, the passion, the heart, the determination, the work ethic, the arrogance, the confidence, the team-first attitude, etc.

It is a shame that since he and Woodson left, we really haven't had a player like that. Dez is the closest thing we have to it.

did you watch the pick, he didn't want to pick the Niners at all, but he went with his head, and I cannot blame him. He did say immediately after, that he believes the Cowboys can win the game.....but for his picks, the took the Niners.

also, the Texans offense has looked horrible. Fitzpicksix is a horrible QB since getting paid. Their defense will be improved, but they still have questions in the secondary. I think it will be a close game, but I can understand why analysts would pick the Skins over the Texans.

Michael Irvin looks like he could suit up right now & play. I watch my old stuff & he has not changed at all.

Too bad he had to retire.

Go JJ! That's the game I'll be watching although I have an itchy finger for the remote.

What's funny is we have playmaker, wears the same number. Irvin is my favorite player of all time and Dez has many of his same traits

You're statement is not even close. unbelievable the amount of crap blown about Bryant. He is a me player. Irvin was a TEAM player.

He's my favorite all time Cowboy. I never tire hearing him speak. He could sell me dirt for a million dollars and I would buy it because he sold it to me so passionately. LOL.

What player you watching? Dez Bryant is not even close to being a me player. Dez is the ultimate team player, stop with the made up crap about Dez. It's untrue and false in all accounts
