Newman is soft.6 weeks for a slight tear?wow.Guy is always limping around. On another note Im sick of Wade lying about injuries.:bang2:

Have you ever torn a groin muscle? It feels like someone is kicking you in the junk with every step you take, and it's an injury that lingers for a long time. He won't be 100% for most of the year.

Groin injuries can be pretty painful man.

You are someone who's never hurt his groin muscle.

That can do some serious damage for some serious time.

I had a slight tear in my groin. It was very difficult to get going or squat until it was throughly warmed up. It would lock up and feel like I just injured again when squatting with minimal weight.

I can envision a CB having severe issues cutting with such injuries.

Good thing we have some depth at the position. I am not nearly as comfortable without Newman, but I feel a lot better knowing we have Henry, Pacman, Jenkins, and Scandrick than having Henry, Reeves, N. Jones and Ball.

it does not help that wade said it would be only 3 weeks. for his own players sakes, he needs to stop giving updates. at this rate, spencer won't be back till mid-season.

I must say this is a stupid post

sorry, but its true

I don't mind Wade lying about injuries. Everyone does it, and it puts you at a disadvantage if you don't.

I just pulled my groin and wasn't right for about 6 weeks so someone with a tear should expect something along those lines at least. He'll be back so you can relax...

Side note: I nominate this thread for deletion.

I'm sure Wade just pulls numbers out of the air on injuries. The trainers and doctors are the ones that give timeframes not Wade. If a trainer says 3 weeks Wade plans on having him back in 3 weeks. Why rush him when we have guys to step up. Hell its not like we are playing the Colts in their prime.

If it's anything like a hamstring, he won't be healthy 100% until next season.

It was obviously some kind of setback seeing as Newman himself said he was ready 2 weeks ago.

Unless you believe Wade made Newman lie to everyone

Im sure it must be hard for someone who has really never done anything athletically in their life to understand, but trust me, there is no such thing as a slight groin tear, especially when you are a CB. The only thing that is soft around here is your logic.
