It happens, but it isn’t the norm. Buffalo is a bad example because, even if they didn’t turn it over, we were a far superior team.Do you not remember all of the turnovers Buffalo gave us in two Super Bowls? There are many other examples. Teams do actually beat themselves often in the playoffs. We gave away a playoff win in Green Bay when Demarco Murray fumbled away what would’ve been a pretty sizable lead.
A better example is the game with the Dwight Clark catch. San Fran had a far superior team, but turned it over 5 times that day to keep Dallas in the game. The point is that it will only carry you so far. Tampa turned it over four times in our first game. That kept us in that game as well, but the better team won.

This is absolutely true. Could you imagine if Zeke sat out the game yesterday? "There's our overpaid RB taking a break!"
