I noticed something

Do you not remember all of the turnovers Buffalo gave us in two Super Bowls? There are many other examples. Teams do actually beat themselves often in the playoffs. We gave away a playoff win in Green Bay when Demarco Murray fumbled away what would’ve been a pretty sizable lead.
It happens, but it isn’t the norm. Buffalo is a bad example because, even if they didn’t turn it over, we were a far superior team.

A better example is the game with the Dwight Clark catch. San Fran had a far superior team, but turned it over 5 times that day to keep Dallas in the game. The point is that it will only carry you so far. Tampa turned it over four times in our first game. That kept us in that game as well, but the better team won.

Are the Bucs the better team? They lost to the Saints and Washington.

Well, that game they were. I have never been a believer that if one team loses to someone who we beat, ipso facto we are better than that team.

This is nothing new. The Cowboys have always needed to earn everything they got.

The Cowboys played in 8 Super Bowls. They lost every Super Bowl decided by 4 points or less. They won every Super Bowl by double digits.

If the Cowboys win by 10 it is either a struggle or an ugly win. If they lose by 10 it is a blow out.

Let’s be honest it took 4 INT’s including a pick-six for us to win by 10 points against a struggling team that had lost 4 consecutive games. Not to mention they had one of their best players out Alvin Kamara and they were playing with an average QB who had an injured finger that will require surgery and a bad foot. Taysom Hill put up almost 400 total yards on our defense. Spin it anyway you want but it was an ugly win for a Cowboys team that many thought was a strong contender for the Super Bowl just a few weeks ago.

Let's be honest, many feel that the Cowboys are a strong contender for the Super Bowl today.

Many don’t feel they’re as strong a contender as they were five weeks ago. If what we saw on Thursday night is what they’re going to be the rest of the season they probably won’t get past the first round of the playoffs. This isn’t the same Cowboys team we saw earlier in the season. They’re having issues on the OL that’s affecting our pass protection and our running game. Our defense continues to give up big plays. Even after a pick-six we let New Orleans right back in the game with a big play. We have no killer instinct. This is not a very good Cowboys team right now. I’ve seen all their championship teams abd this team doesn’t have it. Just being honest. Maybe they’ll improve we’ll see. My own personal opinion I think the Cowboys best football of the season came and went. They peaked early and have faded. I’ve seen this movie before.

I also noticed that if a player sits out because of injury, they bad mouth him-- see Lawrence. If a player plays injured, they bad mouth him--see Zeke.

 This is absolutely true. Could you imagine if Zeke sat out the game yesterday? "There's our overpaid RB taking a break!"
Plus, every team we play is formidable…until we beat them. Then, they suck!

I brought this up in the game thread last night. Everybody was talking about how the Saints had a great defense before the game. During the game? Saints defense sucks and we should be hanging a 40 burger on them. haha

The team struggled yesterday against an undermanned opponent. Perhaps some have agendas. Who cares? Saying they struggled shouldn’t raise any eyebrows.

We noticed something too. But a bath, new clothing, beano and some hot food from the field kitchen will do wonders.
Vietnam called and Rambo lost.

:lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2:. No way bro. Ask any NFL fan and they’ll tell you as of RIGHT NOW, this team is going to get eliminated in the playoffs, let alone a SuperBowl. This is the funniest thing I’ve read all day mate. If you think that team that just got massacred by the KC defense, outplayed by the broken Raiders offense, and almost outplayed by the Saints, you’re in a for a rude awakening.

That kinda talk comes from several places: 1)ABD’s, who will speak against Dallas at every opportunity. 2)The media, who use the word “Cowboys” to create drama and debate for ratings dollars, and 3)perpetually miserable “realists” who need constant angst and validation for their scorn.

I remember people scoffing at the 9-7 sixth seed Giants, who got healthy and hot at the right time; teams like Washington and Baltimore and Oakland playing Super Bowls with lesser QBs than Dak; and teams with weak defenses or pedestrian offenses winning it all.

People always forecasting failure have the percentages working for them, but at what cost? Do they ever actually just relax and enjoy the game? Some even WANT Dallas to fail, so they can pat themselves on the back for their “guru-ness”! Doesn’t sound like a real fan to me.

That is 1000 doom and gloom posts from you. This is a good example of what we are talking about. The Cowboys got massacred by the Chiefs and almost outplayed by the Saints. They were both 10 point games. Thank you for posting. Hard to believe that somebody would spend the time and effort to spread the nonsense that you bring here.
