I noticed something

That is 1000 doom and gloom posts from you. This is a good example of what we are talking about. The Cowboys got massacred by the Chiefs and almost outplayed by the Saints. They were both 10 point games. Thank you for posting. Hard to believe that somebody would spend the time and effort to spread the nonsense that you bring here.

The only nonsense being spread here is believing this team is a currently a contender. The Cowboys team that beat the Patriots and any game before that? Yeah, they were contenders. This team that has no identity and is struggling offensively despite having everyone back is NOT a SuperBowl contender. That’s not doom and gloom that’s REALITY. Look at the Cardinals, Packers, and even the Bucs right now and tell me you think the team that just scraped by the damaged and torn sacrilegious Saints can beat those teams at full strength come playoff time in THEIR house? Because I don’t see it. I see you thanked me for posted, regardless whether is was sarcastic or not, I say you’re welcome because it appears to be needed.

Up to 1001.

Your Packers and Bucs lost to the Saints.

I noticed something to. Malik Turner in the few targets he gets is impressive. Wouldn’t mind him alternating with Noah Brown. I think Turner is more of a deep threat .

:laugh: This is absolutely true. Could you imagine if Zeke sat out the game yesterday? "There's our overpaid RB taking a break!"

I brought this up in the game thread last night. Everybody was talking about how the Saints had a great defense before the game. During the game? Saints defense sucks and we should be hanging a 40 burger on them. haha
Half of the fanbase is bipolar. I mean, just reading this forum is proof of that.

Let’s be honest it took 4 INT’s including a pick-six for us to win by 10 points against a struggling team that had lost 4 consecutive games. Not to mention they had one of their best players out Alvin Kamara and they were playing with an average QB who had an injured finger that will require surgery and a bad foot. Taysom Hill put up almost 400 total yards on our defense. Spin it anyway you want but it was an ugly win for a Cowboys team that many thought was a strong contender for the Super Bowl just a few weeks ago.
Good teams win ugly games against banged up opponents. That's not my concern. If we would have lost then I'd be freaking out. In '92 we barely beat Denver in Denver and John Elway was out. I think they were down to 3rd string QB. I think, maybe it was the 2nd string QB. But the point is the Broncos were beat up pretty bad on the injury side of things and it took a healthy Dallas team with a 4th qtr comeback by Aikman to get the W. Most people would argue 92 was the best Cowboys team of all time. But we won ugly in Denver with a lot of their guys out and it still was a nail biter. But Denver is a tough place to play with a smart HC at the time. New Orleans is a tough place to play with a good HC.

I'm not saying we are SB contenders. I thought we were a month ago. This Thursday kept the hope alive. Every team has an ugly win or two in their season. If we would have lost tho, oh my goodness. The wheels would have come off and I think our confidence would have been shot. I feel the season would have been over if we lost to that beat up NO team. But we won, it was ugly and they were undermanned, but I don't want to minimize the W because NO has excuses. It was a NFC road win with playoff implications. These were the games we used to lose the past 26 years. So I agree with what you're saying. We should not be puffing our chest out and bragging about the W. But I also feel we shouldn't minimize a late season, conference road win.

If the offense gives you the ball, that's called a turnover. If the defense causes said turnover, it now can be called a takeaway.

Where's the line drawn, you ask? Not an easy answer. But I believe the Cowboy's defense is forcing the majority of these takeaways. They aren't gifts.

Isn’t that part of board rules
I mean if Dak throws for 400 yards it’s just garbage time
I remember when Ware only got meaningless sacks too

Or when we score points it's Dak's Offense and when we don't its the fault of: the O:Line. the play calling, the running game, the fans, the height of our receivers, or the black cat that walking across the sidewalk.

We all have to remember the vast majority of us are sensible fans. It’s the loud whiny very small minority that gets the attention they crave by acting the way they do.

We are getting into the realms of censorship there ;). There's a place for our Redzone Rocky and his nemeses as well as the legitimate football conversation.

Eagles won the Super Bowl, was that team a contender? Silly fans, get into the playoffs anything can happen and this team has way more talent than that Eagles team. We are going to finish year very strong and with Gregory and Gallimore back as long as we are healthy, no team in the NFL will want to play us.

There’s always going to be differing opinions or interpretations. And fans much like people on societal issues will align with those which are similar to theirs.

There’s all types of fans. From cheerleaders to apathetic to extremely critical thinking. Just attend a game and you’ll experience the variations from extremes. Some are so annoying you’d rather sit by an opposing fan.

In the end we all want the same thing which is our common bond. How we arrive there will vary.

I suppose it depends upon the pressure. We're developing a style based on pressure combined with one very good CB with outstanding ballhawking closing speed. It's not a co-incidence that teams arent throwing much in the direction of our CB1.

If the Cowboys win by 10 it is either a struggle or an ugly win. If they lose by 10 it is a blow out.
Someone is paying attention to the psyche of Fans that is short for "Fanatic"....

Great Post:hammer::hammer:

I also noticed that if a player sits out because of injury, they bad mouth him-- see Lawrence. If a player plays injured, they bad mouth him--see Zeke.
:popcorn::hammer::hammer::popcorn::hammer:
Preach please we need the contract rhetoric too.
