I Predict 10-6

I say Dallas will win out and end the season with a 10-6 mark.

Now sadly this appears to be a year where 10-6 might not earn a wild card bid. The NFC is stacked deep right now. We'll have to get a fair bit of help--particularly Atl or Car will have to crash hard.

Dallas can only control the remaining games. 10-6. That's my hope and my honest appraisal, but when making this prediction I am assuming Lee will play all the remaining games.

Honestly if this team wins all remaining games and misses the playoffs. I will remain silent. BECAUSE they became a team that didn't quit and did what they could do even if they fell short. All I can ask as a fan. I'll get over it....Plus 10-6 would break the up and down 10+/8-8 purgatory. It would make me actually semi-relieved. Not to my standards by far but it at least breaks a bad freakin streak going on that I hate.

It will be even easier to swallow if they play and succeed with the young players and changes in the secondary and on defense. I'd be tickled....

Me too. There have been some ridiculous obstacles and to end 10-6 under these circumstances wouldn't be a success...but certainly wouldn't be a big failure either, IMO.

Carolina beats N.O. [or even vice versa - both are 8-3 and 1 is gonna drop to 8-4]
TB beats GB
Ravens beat the Lions

our positioning would jump up from the 9th spot to around the 6th, I think.

The fact there's 4 games left to go and SOMEBODY ahead of us could suddenly crater over the next 4 means it's POSSIBLE.

If Dallas goes 10-6...that equates to a two-year run of 23-9. Does kicking out such a staff make objective sense...or has the fanbase fallen in love w/a false narrative?

10-6 won't get us in, considering we already lost to Atlanta and Atlanta also beat Seattle. So they are pretty much a lock to remain ahead of us. So barring a Saints or Panthers collapse, it's too little too late.

Dallas can only control the remaining games. 10-6. That's my hope and my honest appraisal, but when making this prediction I am assuming Lee will play all the remaining games.

If we can get through the next two and then get Zeke back for the final two, I like our chances to win out. Even if we miss the playoffs it would be a good run to build on for next season.

I don't agree fully yet. A lot can happen in a month. 4-5 games can change everything except the top spot.

Just used the playoff generator. If both the panthers and cowboys are tied at 10-6 we have the tie breaker over them based on conference win%. There are a lot of scenarios the cowboys can make in if they just win out.
