I prefer Chaz Green at Swing Tackle than LG

I was surprised to hear that they were going to put Green at starting LG.
I think he has talent but I'm just worried about his injury history and his ability to hold up there.
I, being the excellent armchair Coach/GM that I am, think he would be more effective as the Swing R/L Tackle.
I hope he can stay healthy.

I wouldn't put too much stock into anything Green.

With his history, he plays one or two games tops. Followed by a nagging injury that puts him out 4-8 weeks. Then he will go to IR

Agree. He has more value as a backup OT than starting OG as odd as that sounds. The availability odds are drastically better as a backup.

He can't be a swing tackle either if he can't stay healthy. I think with Chaz it's a matter of when, not if. We'll be seeing Cooper starting at LG at some point this season.

I think the OP's opinion goes with the majority. Don't know why the coaches can't see the same

That's because you are very smart

I like to see him last an entire game without getting hurt,it might be too much for him.

I agree mostly because we dont have to rely on him nearly as much as a swing tackle. He's a part time Oline guy at best.

Actually it's a perfect job for him. As a swing tackle you plan on him playing one, two maybe three games tops.

That's about his lifespan each season.

He did start and play two complete games at LT last season when they needed him the most.
