What could have been an all time great win in a game for the Boys, was just another game we shoulda won and found a way to lose.

I used to live and die, but Im just numb to it now.

A Cowboys fan with little if any expectation is a pitiful thing.

Thanks Jerruh! :banghead:

I stopped having any expectations after the Eagles blowout in the win and you're in game a few years back. Originally that stance was until Wade was gone, but once they hired Garrett it easily continued.

Every week I fully expect we'll find a new way to lose.

It hurts, but I am not going to allow them to ruin my days anymore.

I am done with that -that was a tough loss!

I hear ya.

Other than cussing at the players, refs and Garrett during the game I was just left afterwards with a "well, what did you expect?" feeling. I knew we would figure out a way to piss the game away but got my hopes up near the end a couple of times but then of course was let down after the missed FG.

"Oh well, at least we weren't blown out" was what I said after the game was over. How pitiful is that! I'm sick of the BS "We just need to work on a few things for next week" mentality that the Cowboys have. This team needs to start over from scratch, from the top(owner/GM) on down. I'd keep 5-6 players and none of the coaches or front office and dump all the rest. Heck, I'd even fire all of the janitors!

I've been a Cowboys fan since 1963 and I resent that MY team has been stolen from me by that idiot from Arkansas! :bang2: :bang2: :bang2:

My hope for next week? Maybe the Panthers will make more mistakes than we will and we can actually post a W and get to .500.

A boys loss used to really mess up for at least a day. And I would be pissed off for a couple more
Now its meh.

Has it come to that? Say it ain't so. Wow, teams use to say that after they played us, what, going on two decades ago.

I expect this anymore. This team is too soft mentally to not lose this way. Parcells could not change the culture, so I don't expect anyone with the resume of Garrett to be able to. Apathy has set into this franchise. We are turning into the browns of the NFC, our fans have zero expectations of greatness.

This is true for me too, but it bothers me that I feel this way. I knew that I would be ecstatic over a win and nonchalant over a loss in this game. I don't like this "oh well" feeling, but being upset all week won't change a thing.

I don't allow myself to get as emotionally invested as I used to anymore. That way the hurt doesn't sting as bad or for as long.

I finally came to the realization that I'm a fan of a mediocre NFL organization. Not the end of the world. It is what it is.

Kind of agree here. Been a fan since the 1970 season. Actually disappeared for part of the 3rd qtr today to take the Vette out for a quick blast as it was a beautifule day today here in NY.

In the old days I would never ever miss any Cowboy time on tv. This team since the 2007 season has just ripped the guts outta me. We keep adding more and more pieces and we are still drowning. Its really a shame that we have managed to basically F up Romo's entire career here...shoulda had a ring in 07 and at least one other one. The best years of our stars careers have been wasted.

Maybe Romo winds up getting his ring like Elway did at the far side of his career at 37. Not sure that Witt and Ware will be around though.

Why should it hurt when this team continues to prove all their detractors right. They've done nothing to deserve the benefit of the doubt. As Stephen A. Smith states all the time.."the cowboys are an accident waiting to happen". They will find a way to lose. Today shouldn't surprise anyone. It's just par for the course with this group.

I just knew even when everything was going our way and we where driving for the TD that we'd find a way to lose. After we scored i felt deep down we wouldn't get 2, then we got the onside and then the penalty. Even with everything going our way i was just sitting here waiting for the kick to miss and sure enough it did :bang2:

The only thing this team does with any kind of consistency is find ways to lose

know what you mean....I used to take this into the next game until the Boys won again....now I get over it at the final whistle. It is sad to feel like this for your favorite team, but thats what it has come down to now.

should be a crime what Jerry has done to the once proud fanbase of this organization. We have been diluted to just quarreling and *****ing among ourselves. The NFL playoffs and the Cowboys were a tradition, now its just a fantasy.

Same here. It is a comfortable place to be and is much better on my physical well being.

If there was just some hope that things were moving in the right direction even . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Im also an Orioles fan and have been for almost 40 yeaars. 14 years of losing seasons. Arguably the worst owner in sports. Out of NOwhere they had a good year and made the playoffs. A great year. So, its possible. 93 wins was not expected.

The Boys can do it also, but they need to find ways to win rather than find ways to lose.

The PROCESS just never seems to have an upward trend. I used to think, "if they just put it together and play like they are capable of" but even that doesnt sustain me anymore.

We are in an awful place as long time Cowboy fans!

Jerry Jones has had enough Botox injections to make even the fans numb...

This loss will **** with me all week, but that's just me...I love this team to damned much.

I was mildly disappointed when the FG missed. There was once a time when I would've seen red. Years of watching Cowboys teams with glaring holes and mentally soft players get "tweaked" in the offseason has taken the fun out of being a fan. I know we have a few great players, but I want it blown up... It mightbe fun to see a team grow up together rather than see one or two promising players get dragged into the culture of wussiness that our team seems to foster every year now.

Pretty much this

The Colts are 2-3 as well i think, who's future looks the brightest us or them? I don't think to many of their fans are crying about them letting Payton Manning go even at 2-3

Me too, ... I wish I didn't care as much as I do. I envy those that let it go so quickly. I am working on it though.

The Mountaineers losing the way they did at TT doesn't help any.
