how garbage marion barber is... and it hurts me to say this. He was definitely one of my favorites... but

374 yards on a 113 attempts 4 touchdowns...3.3 average... 2.4 average at home...

this guy is just garbage.

I dont want him on the team even if he restructured his contract. Even if we improve the offensive line.

He's done.

He's costing us so much money, and he simply isn't a good player. Give the spot to someone who can actually help us. Teams get new running backs all the time.

If anything, the Packers have proven you don't need a big time RB to get to the Superbowl.

It's a passing league now. Starks is <OK> at this point -- nothing more. Brandon Jackson sucks. Kuhn is really just a utility man, etc

Get rid of Barber and the Cowboys will be JUST FINE with Felix, Choice, and a 4th, 5th, or 6th round draft pick rookie RB.

Thank you for your emphasizing and valuable contribution to the board. I want to emphasize that.

Ya it has absolutely nothing to do with the OLINE and the fact that our only successful runs come from screens and maybe we get lucky on runs to the outside every once in a while.

It amazes me some of the football intelligence shown here. This is like blaming the Quarterback when the reciever hes throwing to leads the league in dropped passes.

Is MB anywhere what he was 2 years ago, no not at all but im not blind enough to put his stats entireley on his shoulders. Its this kind of thinking in the front office that has left us with a decrepit oline and three running backs. Our oline sucks. I love them and am thankful for what they have done for this team in the past but they are old and hobbled.

ya 3 guys in the backfield before he gets the ball. Yup thats all barber

I said this in the other 100 "Barber Sucks" threads and i'm gonna say it in this one too. None of the running backs played well last season. How can you judge any running backs behind this offensive line? What can a running back do when he gets hit in the backfield? Now granted, its probably time to move on from Barber due to his salary but as of right now our running game sucks and the reason for that starts with this offensive line.

I've wanted him back in the closer role, or gone, for a couple years now. I'm a Choice fan myself and would rather seem him getting the shot to be the leading back in Dallas.

He knows how to jump up and celebrate after running with the football. That has to count for something.

remember when barber used to be the heart and soul of the offense?...MAn how times have changed. The guy is done.

This just in ... part time back who is used in short line and goal line situations doesn't have great ypc. More this developing story at 11:00.

Choice scored a TD his first game as a starter. How many games did Barber go this season without a single TD?

Felix Jones has had BIG runs, including that 70-something yarder against the giants.

Barber sucks dude. Accept it.

You owe me a Coke. One second I was swallowing it. The next second it was all over my desk.

...and how many times did he get stuffed at the goal line or LOS? That's what I thought.

Don't know if MBIII will be around as a Cowboy next year but- I remember Brandon Jacobs sobbing and crying about his crappy performance last year (think he averaged around 3. something yard per carry) and even lost his starting job (which he also boohooed about) but this year was much more productive.

just sayin

I love the way Starks runs. He decides where he's going and gets there fast. He can get to the holes, and he always falls forward. He's a pretty dang good player.
