I remember when MM was questioned calling the plays in GB

This offence is way to vanilla and the better teams are sniffing this poop out and drulling. My current job is definitely not an NFL Defensive coordinator but I could scheme up a game plan if asked by any upcoming opponents and deliver a beat down. You have CDee Lamb, Cooks, Pollard , Turpin and some dam good TE's. Reach out to the forum MM and we can help you sir. Oh BTW please have DAK quack sprint out to either sideline on passing plays because the offensive line does not block....anyone at all.
You want Coach Mac to reach out to the fans? I'll make it easy for you, here's what I've learned in a nutshell this week from everyone.

-- Bench Dak. Start Trey Lance. Today.
-- Scrap this offense. Go back to Kellen Moore's offense. Today.
-- Trade every draft pick the next 3 years for a franchise QB, franchise LB, and a franchise TE. Today.
-- Secretly talk with Deion Sanders or Bill Belichick about being the next coach of the Cowboys. Today.
-- Jerry should sell the team. Today.

Make sure you fax this to Mac, don't email. Rumor is he's a little outdated.

You know I didn’t find it a big deal at the time. But we really needed to utilize the preseason games. I feel like watching this offense, we’re still in the preseason. WRs running lazy, or wrong, routes, poor timing in the run game. It’s a mess. And to top it off we still have major injuries so we didn’t prevent anything by sitting our starters in PS. We are extremely lucky to be 3-2. Most teams’s defense and STs don’t score as many points as ours. It’s a bummer to watch.
Really disappointing.
I had high hopes for Mac as the OC.
Its not played out favorably.
I am jealous of teams that their coaching is an asset and not a liability.

I hope we get a new stadium and new art.
A Stadium facing N & S. Even though the 2 home day games so far the sun has not bee a factor.

Note to Jerry .... curtains will be much cheaper ... Jerry's response ... but Jean wants a real art gallery, but needs fans to come to see it, as real art people would not otherwise.

You can literally see guys open. How about do some homework yourself.
I do not look at the all 22 film. But sometimes fans say a guy is open, and at times it seems they are. However from filed level and the QB's point of view, is a much different experience especially when one needs to make a split second decision.

Fan see a wide open receiver, however if the QB is scrambling and as soon as the defensive player covering a receiver sees the play going elsewhere. He breaks his coverage and goes toward where the ball is being thrown.

Therefore giving fans the impression the receiver was wide open. Now unless that QB is Mahomes, or Brady, not all QB's, most all QB's will not recognize a blown coverage and zip the ball back to the wide open guy.
However, I seen Mahomes miss many wide open guys as well, because he committed to another receiver.

Not at all defending Dak. But that is how it happens, and often.
Easier to see it from above as to on field level.

Aaron Rodgers criticized MM play design and GB offense stagnated for a few years before he was let go. A future hall of famer could not make MMs offense work in his later years. It is more than a Dak issue.
And how was MM to have great play designs when half his offense was injured the last few years. He had to simplify it. Even AR could not carry the team with no WR's or RB's.
However fans love to bring up that comment from one of the most whiniest QB's of all time. To try to prove a point that means nothing.

Yes, it is more than a Dak issue, I agree there.

Or is it more that, Dallas is a black hole of the most whiniest fans. :lmao2:
We saw this after they lost the 1st game last year. The cry babies cried and said the season was over. Now if they win Monday, they will be 4 and 2 and the same people said the season was already over again.

Problem is the all 22 shows guys open and the ball isn’t going to those players.

Criticize the design all you want but if Dak was better at processing information it wouldn’t be an issue.
almost feel like he makes up his mind before the snap where it’s going. if you’re gonna force crap at least force it to 88.

Was one of those games the year he called the plays? Can't remember.

All I have to say is Hall of Fame QBs make a difference. Just ask Belichick.

I remember last season when I still had PSLs for the Cowboys. Glad I got out from under that elephant.

I think i have figured out MM Texas Toast offense. Year 1, pass from shotgun, run from under center or 3 step drop, read WR1 then dump off. Year 2, same as before, add in 5 step drop, read WR 1,2 then dump off. Year three is where we really get to the good stuff. Maybe a sprinkle of presanp motion, 7 step drop, WR 1,2,3 then dump off. That must be it. We just have to be patient for the...wait for it...PROCESS.

I have to question whether they even watched any film of the Niners' defense because the game plan made no sense to me. The more breakdowns of it I watch the more frustrating it gets.

The Niners were basically playing man coverage with 2 LBs and a Safety in the middle of the field and Dallas is running double and triple slants into the heart of the defense.

Where was the play-action to suck the LBs up if you are going to attack the middle of the field with slants?

Where are the whip, out, corner, comeback routes etc to attack outside the hashes where this is no LB or safety help?
