Two seperate issues there, IMO.
I'm not saying it's why we lost... but they really did have some cheap shots in there that you normally just don't see during the course of a game. The Wilfork forearm to the back of Witten's head was one of the easier one's to see.
That's ok. If, IF we do see them again... I'm sure our guys will remember it.
We can compete with these guys, period. Take out Nate Jones and put in Anthony Henry and it makes a difference. Let Brady be off, even a hair and about a quarter of the passes he completed yesterday will be incomplete. He was spot on target and things just fell their way.
That's ok. It would be more difficult the second time around (always is) and we will remember the dirty plays.
We just need to take care of business and meet them in Arizona.

Beast_from_East;1710458 said:3. At least twice I saw an o-lineman try to "cut" Ware at the knees. We are lucky he was not injured out there today. On another play, Ware jumped to knock the pass down and it looked like one of the backs or tight ends (couldnt really tell the guys # from the video angle) dove under Ware so he would come down awkardly.
jterrell;1710864 said:of course!!!!
It would mean we made it to the Super Bowl.
What kind of nutcase wouldn't want to meet them again?
Kilyin;1710750 said:Uh, he broke TO's ankle. You say "repeatedly broke people's legs" as if Roy Williams left a trail of players with broken legs in his wake.
We can count the number of penalties that have been made as a result of Cowboy specific players for no real reason at all. Soon, we'll see the stiff arm outlawed as a result of Marion Barber using it too much to gain a competitive advantage.
bysbox1;1710596 said:I thought that against NE we should have started MBIII. They play so dirty and he's such an aggressive runner he would have done much better to start the game off.
JJ is a finese runner and that plays to NE dirty playing strengths.
Beast_from_East;1710458 said:6. Running the score up. The game was over and it was a total classless move to run up the score.
Doomsday;1710845 said:The Colts have been complaining for years about the Pats getting away with illegal contact downfield. They call a total bs PI on us in the endzone in the 3rd quarter but no flag on Crayton's TD. Romo get hit in the helmet and no flag, we take 1 hit and nail Brady and they throw a questionable flag giving them yet another big first down in the 3rd quarter.
InmanRoshi;1710881 said:Uh, you might want to google the names Musa Smith and Tyrone Calico.
If Marion Barber ends a couple of players careers with his stiff arm, when no one else in the league is using it, then there probably should be a law against it.
WoodysGirl;1710892 said:On a side note, I do like the fact they got away with a nice block in the back on Harrison on Thompson's big run.
outthedoorbill;1710484 said:Boo-hoo... the Cowboys got their collective *** whipped. Deal with it. If they lost by a field goal - or even one touchdown... your pitch would prolly seem credible. But they were flat blown out.
The point is, folks can complain, mention, post, whatever about certain Pats non-calls, but I guarantee you there were some that the 'boys got away with too. That just happened to be one of them. And it was one I totally appreciated.Doomsday;1710913 said:Yea otherwise we might of had to settle for a FG there. Oh wait nevermind. Phillips decision to kick the FG there brought back nightmares of Campo.
Austin blocks Harrison in the back then trips himself, what a great effort that was.
