I said it last year after the Baltimore and Philly game, and I'll say it again now...

This team is completely, totally, unequivocally gutless. This isnt your normal "lack of heart" kind of team, this is the kind of team that has absolutely no pride whatsoever in what they are trying to do.

Closing Texas Stadium, with the playoffs on the line, and they put on a pitiful display against Baltimore. Then, in a game they HAD TO HAVE against Philly, they get absolutely destroyed and give zero resistance. Then yesterday, in what I'm sure was one of the highest rated sports programs in the history of this country, opening the greatest sports tadium ever constructed, in front of a record crowd on national TV and they act like they could ****** care less. This team went through the motions in a game they should have been able to win on emotion alone.

Absolutely disgusting in every sense of the word. To see a group of grown men getting paid millions put up an effort like that on that stage is so beyond pathetic I found myself laughing as that winning FG went through the uprights

The offense sans Romo was fine.

Not sure I can complain about the entire offense. They are the ones who show up.

I had no issues with their effort, they looked fine to me

just our O can't keep hanging our D out to dry

we need more sustained drives, it's nice to score TDs on every drive, but that's not realistic

until we can mount a pass-rush and the secondary can hold up their end, the O needs to keep them off the field

It had nothing to do with being gutless.

It had EVERYTHING to do with giving the ball away over and over and over.

Tony just DOES NOT get it yet. I wonder if he ever will.

We've seen it before and guaranteed he will throw another slop show again some time this year. My guess, he'll throw a couple more because he doesn't get it.

i dont think they are gutless. i just think they make stupid mistakes when they shouldnt. (flo trip, carp hold, romos ints, felix fumble and the last drive by the giants)

I thought the Cowboys showed a ton of guts last night. Romo put them behind the eight ball, and Felix did, and both times they held the Giants to FGs.

Granted, they folded badly at the end, and right after Romo's third INT, but let's not pretend it was a performance completely without resilience.

Gutless is a team that lays down after deflating give aways. I sure didn't see that. Nonchalant maybe, gutless no way.

I don't know. I kind of expected them to beat teams like STL and SEA. Not REALLY above themselves, IMO.

I think you are confusing what heart is. I saw plenty of that last night. And I loved it.

We simply did not play well. Period, end of the story. It has nothing to do with heart or passion. We just did not play well.

Not really. Jerry narrowed it down to the great Wade and Norv.

In the meantime we saw Pittsburgh hire Tomlin, SF hire Singletary, AZ hire Whisenhunt, Jets hire Rex Ryan and so on.

Did I say we narrowed it down to Wade and Norv? :bang2:

Tomlin was hired the day Parcells announced his retirement. Jerry had no shot at him.

The30YardSlant, sadly, you are correct. And it comes down to coaching. This staff inspires nobody.

The team would disagree with you, but who are they?
