only so much of this is about talent
here's Dak's stat line in the last 2 SEA games - look familiar?
Result Comp Att Pct Yds Avg TD Int Sck Rate
L 12-21 21 34 61.8 181 5.3 0 2 4 51.2
L 13-24 19 34 55.9 168 4.9 1 2 5 54.5
This is getting silly. I hate to say it but this OL's pass block in failing. And the play calling makes it worse. In a game when they knew they had to get the ball down field - 0 attempts over 20y today.
Missed opps. Dumb penalties. Blown dump passes to Zeke. Not one play action deep. The same telegraphed bootleg and no roll outs. Too much TE. No rhythm. Didn't even try to run inside.
Think about that, Zeke had only 2 carries inside today - why?
Dak only 2 carries on the day (NEITHER BY DESIGN) - why?
1 reserve (for 18y), not one draw, no play action deep - why?
Since mid season 2017 Dak has been sacked 4/+ times in 5 of the Boys' last 6 losses. He is getting beat up in the pocket and they aren't moving him around.
In those 6 losses he's thrown 1 TD and 9 INTs. 29 Sacks. no rushing TDs. And 4 FFs lost
And 5 of the 6 losses were to non NFCE teams
in the 5 wins since mid season 2017 - 7 TDs, 2 INTs, 4 sacks, 1 rushing TD, 0 FFs lost
And 4 of the 5 wins vs NFCE teams
some of the NFL's best pass rushers are in the NFCE - how come we can block them?
the O coaching issues are deeper than the press imagine - the OL is just the tip of the ice berg
when Dak did have protection today it wasn't used well - the last INT was a ridiculous play call

instead of normal timing system targeting of the" hot" WR, Thompson playing X in single coverage,
Dak's first 2 reads were to the opposite side of the field. huh? remember CAR?
that was by design. And that kills the strength of a timing offense - taking what they give you.
this is big cause of why so many tight window throws - Dak needs perfect touch to execute such passes
bad touch and Wagner made a great play - but the ball should gone deep left.
If they would just run the normal read structure a lot of these issues would go away immediately.
It's not Dak pissing off the WRs - it's the coaches
