I say boycott Jerruh and the Cowboys

I'm not going to quit rooting for the Cowboys, showing my Cowboy pride, or anything like that just to try and hurt some billionaires wallet.

I'm sorry but me and you and everyone on this forum could boycott the team and it would change NOTHING.

I'm simply not interested in going into hiding and waiting to comeback out when we get the results we want to see.

Boycotting JJ is OK but he will never know it because there are so many others who will fall for his message.

I have been boycotting him since 1989 and he hasn't noticed it yet but I have and I feel better about not wasting my money by giving it to a billionaire. Instead, every time I was tempted to buy Cowboys things, I just put the money in a savings account and wound up buying a lot of 14K jewelry, which are now worth several times what I paid for them.

Thanks, Jerry, I appreciate the lesson in investing.

I'm impressed with your mental generosity!

You're definitely deserving of the outcome that you have recently experienced.

Your energy is much too positive to succumb to such negative variables.

Very refreshing Sir!

Thank you!

until Jones gets it through his head he needs to set his ego aside and hire real football people. Money is the only thing that will get through to his massive ego. Boycott the games, don't buy any tickets, memorabilia, food, apparell, pay for parking etc.......... Fans should make it publicly known that the product he is putting on the field is a joke. His meddling and coach selection since Johnson has been a laughing stock.

Doesn't mean you aren't a fan or have given up. It is a tried and true way to get through to an owner selling a product that they have to change their way of doing business.

Did you boycott Dallas during the 1-15 season when Jones rudely removed Tom Landry as coach?

Did you boycott the Cowboys during any of the 5-11 seasons under Campo?

After winning their first playoff game in forever, you want to start a boycott now because the team is 1-6?

I'm for a coaching change, but let's save the boycotts for serious crises and dumb threads.

If you don't like the cowboys then don't go and see them, it's that simple...

Uhhhh, yes, it does... at the very least, it means you're the quintessential fair-weather fan, who bails out when times are tough...

I've never quit on the Cowboys, and I never will... I lived through 0-11-1 in their first season, and 1-15 back in 1989...

But hey, if you're planning on boycotting all things Cowboys, does that mean you'll no longer be posting in here??

Hopefully it will mean boycotting here too.

Can't imagine why he'd want to hang out with all us "sheep", anyway...

Really, and I just join in non-commital, giving my heart and loving the 'Boys. No matter where they go in a season.

This fan already learned that to have the doors to unlock, the driving force has to be singed and forged thoroughly. Then the race and distance is covered. :starspin

And 'Bear, I can't wait for your draft preparations and postings this year!;)

My first season as a fan was 89. Too Tall!!!

Look around at how many fairweather fans are selling their Cowboys gear on Craigslist and the like, stating they're not fans anymore.

I could never get how you'd ever be a fan in the first place with an attitude like that.

Its sucks to be a cowboy fan right now. especially in the east coast. but what can you do ? Take the bad with the good. Thats all you can do... and I dont even brag when the win....its just people love to hate the boys..and right now theres alot of haters around so. hang in there where your cowboy garb proudly and dont be a band wagon jumper cause it will turn around... and it will feel all that much better knowing you didnt just jump on the band wagon.

Let me guess you will still watch them on TV? This is a joke all the talk of boycott, if you are serious then have absolutely nothing to do with the Cowboys no TV, no games and no merchandise.

I agree. It's pathetic. I wish those types of fans would stay gone. Unfortunately as soon as Dallas starts winning again they'll all come running back claiming they never left.

Wouldn't that be nice? Unfortunately they'd all return and try and pretend like they never left.
