Awesome win this week don't get me wrong but if we want to get to the place we want to go we must have improvements in this ares.

We need a pass rusher opposite Ware. Imagine that. I'm done with Spencer. One sack in the last 4 games and that's with the most dominanet defensive player in football on the other side. Spencer should be in on first down and running situations but we need to get a guy who can get 10 sacks on the other side of Ware. I know if you take out pass rushing Spencer is very good. He's still a valuable player don't get me wrong but the need is obvious. Ware is our only guy getting sacks.

I know our oline is a work in progress but I think Holland was just what the doctor ordered. You know Tryon is solid every game. If you look in the dicitionary and look up the word average your see Koiser's picture there. But you can't have everything. Free was almost a pro bowler last year. I'm just saying they're not all pro's as a group but a C plus line. Is that good enough?

Other than this lets look at the poistives.

Our DB's are back. Did anyone notice Newman or Scandrick yesterday up until the last drive? Jenkins was solid too. You don't know how high I am on these guys this year. The plays Brady was making in NE were just uncoverable. Our guys was right with them and he just put the ball in the right place. Newman had one hiccup against Calvin Johnson and Det. Espically on that fade, Newman's GPS must of malfunctioned because he was spinning out of control on that play. Other than that he's been good. Jenkins, is playing like he did in 09 which is good and Scandrick is living up to the hype. I mean you hold Welker to 4 catches and I beileve the TD was on Jenkins, so three, is darn good. Big test this week. Opinions

You know its funny last week this time most of this board had us not even making the playoffs yet today we only have 1 or 2 areas of weakness.

All good teams have a solid offensive line. It is one thing you can always see in a super bowl team. Think of the past winners and their OL and it is always true to form with few exceptions.

The most important position group on the team.

I see more than 1 or 2 Weaknesses...in fact I'll name a few:

1) Cornerbacks
2) Offensive Line
3) Romo late Game miscues

There is 3 and a few more !!!

Don't get sucked in just yet. Remember the Rams are terrible.
If Dallas can beat Philly than you might sip a little Kool Aid.

Didn't Green Bay give up a lot of sacks last year?

There is a hidden weakness on this team and it's between the players ears.

I would agree and something the players and coaches have to correct.

Can also add the return game, punts and kick-offs. They have not been bad, but someone who can get 35+ yds at any given time would be nice.

But as long as they dont turn it over on the returns, im happy.

Ummmm, yep and Aaron is a very mobile QB. I just wish people wouldn't make statements like you need one certain thing to win in the NFL, cause really there isn't one thing other than perhaps great QB play. You win or lose as a team, and you have to make up for your shortcomings in other ways.

TD was on Scandrick....but he still did a good Job

Every single team in the league, every single year, has weaknesses.

There are no perfect teams out there.

Zero.

Spencer is coming off in a lot of pass rush situations and Butler goes in. Butler is doing pretty well too, not getting great sack numbers, but that's hard to do in limited time. I think the team doesn't ask Spencer to try to rush the passer because they don't want him to get out of position.

At this point last year, Green Bay's line was a D at best. They will certainly do some things to improve next year, I think given the plug in of guys like Costa and Nagy, it shouldn't be that hard to improve. Kosier will be better if he goes back to the left.

I agree and if you can overcome your weakness or improve on your weakness then you have a chance to go the distance. The SB is littered with teams who had clear cut strength but they also had some clear cut weakness.

I don't think they are stupid. I think they make dumb mistakes at times but repetition can help correct mistakes.

All teams have weaknesses.

Its how you gameplan to put plays more in your favor than not.

Our ONLY weakness is execution.

We simply need to execute 2-3 more plays per game and we are.... as they say, "Unbeatable".

I wouldn't go that far, um GB and Pitts the past two. Those QB's made there lines look really good, much like Romo has for ours for his entire career. How's that Titans team doing? They might have the best line in football.

Why do you see our coner backs as a weakness? They've been playing very well.

Romo's late game antics are more myth than reality. Yes he's made a few boneheaded plays but he's made more good ones.

I do agree about the line but Holland and Fiammetta, plus the return of Dockery upgrade the line a lot, imo. When we struggled, Fi was out and Naggy was in. Not to mention we've had 2 starting centers and 3 starting LG's already this year because of injury. Time will tell but I think the line will be better going forward.

Philly isn't that good either...

I wouldn't downplay Spencer so much. As you said no one is geetting sacks other than Ware. And Ware hasn't been getting there as much lately, for obvious reasons, but still getting pressures.

Sometimes those pressures are just as good as a sack.
