So two possible explanations:

1. The Front Office doesn't just understand the rules or is just confused about what they are allowed to do--while every other team does--despite the fact these people are career football men with large scouting departments and smart coaches, so they are just sitting around doing nothing while every other team does what they need to do; or

2. You just haven't heard of the Cowboys move because of reporting issues.

While No 2. is clearly the answer, it never ceases to amaze me how many people think/worry No. 1 might be possible.

yeah it is a mystery why they would think that we did not know what day of the week it is.

Our screw ups come because we flat out do not properly evaluate players; nothing else.

Yeah, but what about that 8th spot, Joe?? Clearly that's the critical move of this late season, which is of course why it's shrouded in secrecy...



Seriously, that spot is probably being held for Sam Young when he's cut, which will presumably be right after Dockery is officially signed...
