I see what Garrett did there...

Garrett may be (appears to be) going psychological with the team. Is Garrett finally reaching for his own buttons and levers with this team?

All season long, there have been predictions by players and coaches about how the team was going to do this, or do that in the coming week. About how good the team was, an excuse for this, a prediction for that. Especially true of Ryan- who has been forced to eat his words on many occasions. Now, there is nearly complete silence.

I wonder if the scene is entirely different in the locker room. These guys have had their physical talent questioned, their manhood questioned, leadership questioned, mental toughness questioned, motivation questioned- heck, even their fans are now being targeted for crying out loud. And still there is silence- the only comments appear to be compliments from the team, complimenting the Giants.

I just wonder- if the players and coaches are being fed a steady dose of what is being said about them, and forced to take it with no response? Forced to listen to it, forced to absorb it repeatedly- and allow the anger to grow, with no outlet... other than the game itself. An old fashioned method used by many old style coaches...

One can always hope. Hope that the team comes out with anger in their eyes and a mission in their hearts.

Interesting idea, I wish that were the case.

We'll see Sunday night; however, I fear that the team will look like they always do.

This team is so complacent I really doubt they come out on fire. If Romo doesn't keep them in the game I can easily see the team, the defense in particular calling it a year before halftime.

There's no doubt this is all by Garrett's design. But it's not to get them to come out angry; it's to get them to come out prepared to win.

Which team would you trust more on any given Sunday, the one that wraps its entire emotion around trash talking or the one that wraps it around its preparation?

The answer is obvious, which is why I love Dallas' chances to win, and win big. If we hit them hard and fast and scor early then that Giants team will unravel in a hurry.

Coach Coughlin is as bad as his players for letting them shoot off their mouths. I want to see a bewildered face on Coughlin when the Cowboys are done on Sunday night.

I think the team is not talking because they have nothing to talk about!

They already know that the Giants HATE them, why would they give more ammo towards that hate?

Anyway, if the team needs this kind of strategy then they are not as good or as confident as they need to be. But, I do like the silence, it's golden.
