Perhaps Dallas has decided that they cannot run the ball on Pitt anyway, so putting Barber out there at less than 100% is pointless? Dallas is really taking a lot of gambles this year. I thought Romo would play in the Giant game in NY, but he didn't. And I am guessing Dallas figures that even if they lose Sunday, they can win out and STILL make the playoffs. We shall see.

i do think they are giving mb3 off this week because the giants game is more important in our playoff hopes.

however...choice is going to surprise some folks this sunday.

Re Barber, I keep hearing he is not starting.
It's up to Choice.
The only silver lining is that Barber gets time to recuperate. Against the Giants the ground game becomes even more important because with the GiANTs type of efficient, mechanical offense, we need to grind it out and keep the ball from them.

While I am nervous about Choice in blitz pick up, I think he is exactly what we need this week running the ball.
Taking nothing away from Barber, but a pair of fresh, talented legs against a defense that didn't need an extra reason to be overconfident or to ignore our run game might turn out to be a good thing.
I am going out on a limb and predict a 100 yd. game for our little runner.
