I'm still hurting like hell right now and I don't trust myself to say too much yet. But I mainly wanted to drop by and see what other Cowboy fans were thinking.

We beat ourselves today, there's no doubt about it. But I'm a little disappointed at some of the comments I'm reading. Don't get me wrong: I completely understand that today's performance didn't in any way live up to the high expectations that so many of us had for this team for most of this season, and I also understand the historical "significance" of this loss. But I love this team too much for too long to kick them when they're down.

And since you almost can't get any closer to being a shoe-in for the Super Bowl than this team was this year, I don't even want to think about getting my hopes up again next year (but I know I will).

bayougirl, this team just has some maturing to do. it wasn't too long ago we were making fun of eli and romo was on a fairy tale run.

i've not lost a lick of faith in romo. sometimes you gotta just get knocked down to know how to stay on top. romo almost had it too easy and he got some great experience today. we've got a lot of good years ahead and i'm gonna enjoy those too.

it's why i love this team.

Unfortunately the fans have more heart than the players or coaches.

If you listen to comments from players and coaches, it seems like they are treating this like just another day at the office. Oh well, we will review the tape and make adjustments for next year.

Too bad the team doesn't have heart like the real fans.

I hear ya bro. I feal the same way..

I keep telling myself that I am blessed to have such a healthy family and I love my wife and kids dearly. This is just a game, and yet it hurts so much to lose again.

Im at a loss for words...
