You guys dont realize what he did for us.
He gave us hope beyond one more year in Bledsoe. He gave us a young, fiery spirit that lifted the offense so much. I am so pumped about seeing Tony Romo play next year. I love seeing his smile on after games. He is our future, and it looks very bright with him. People can bash him all they want, but he had to carry this team almost since he came in.

Sure, I guess he did. However, it happens. Glenn did his part, as well.

ya he did, so did the coaches for some bad play calling, the funny thing about the last 6 mins, we might have been better off giving up the td instead of the safety.

Yes, I do, and so do a lot of other people in here. I agree with everything you said. He's taking his lumps right now, but I actually have hope for a better 2007 because of him. The idea of going into the season with "Stonehenge" and/or some untested draft pick was enough to break me to tears.

At least now I feel like we'll have a shot.

This sounds like a Jerry McGuire moment to me!

I think Carrie will dump his fumbling little butt for someone who can hold her without batting her around and scooping her back up for an audibilized makeout session.

People we can point the finger and say who faught it is. It's the team faught. How did we get to that point that we needed Tony Romo to hold that snap for a possible gamewinning field goal. Well first of all the Defense got scored on because of mental mistakes. Roy Williams is steady getting beat in coverage, I feel he's the momentum of our defense but it seems like Ware is taking that over. Right now I feel as Ware is the best defensive player we have.

It certain things that cost us the game. Like Bill Parcells judgement on challenges. I felt that he should have tooken a chance and challenge the catch. Not the two points in the fourth quarter. Why would you call a passing play back there in the endzone?, why can't Terry Glenn Grip the ball?, and why didn't we go for it on fourth and inches?

I believe one thing we can't question is the NFL. Their referees isn't doing a good job on their calls. I seen two times in the game Romo got hit after he released the ball. How about the referees time out to fix the clock when Terrell Owens caught the pass? Did you notice the the sound when Terrell Owens caught the pass not before?

I feel that we have been going against our oponents and referees every game of this season, diffently against the Colts.

I still like Romo as well. There's no reason he shouldn't be the quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys next season.

Despite it being his first playoff game, he played (the quarterback position) Ok tonight. Never cost us the game with poor throws. In fact, Hasselbeck was the one that looked like he was playing his first game out there. Parcells wanted Romo to reign some things in, and, to his credit, he did that. He also suffered from, what, four drops and his teammates fumbling away two possessions?

With that said, you can't overlook the critical nature of his dropped hold. That cost the Cowboys this game. There's no denying it. No, it doesn't mean he should be cut or benched. But it's the reality of the situation. His fumble is why the Cowboys will be home next week.

It wasn't the only thing. Challenges, fumbles, drops, safeties....so many things were to blame. But that play was the single play that will forever be associated with this loss.

Just like "The Catch" didn't doom the Cowboys. There were many factors. But it's the single play associated with that game.

The sad thing is -- and I don't say this in "defense" of Romo, as I've clearly stated his play is the reason the Cowboys lost -- I thought the game was lost anyhow when Witten's first down was overturned. I thought there was no way we'd stop Seattle from scoring a field goal to win on the ensuing possession.

All I want to add is, I am proud of the team, I am proud of Romo, and he still gives us some hope for next year and the immediate future of this franchise. :star::):star:

You party pooper, this is a time of gnashing of teeth and grave lamentation.

Sing with me "It was the Bash, it was the Romo bash.
It was the bash, he was playoff trash. (Repeat as desired and sung to the tune of Monster Mash)
